If I can give a negative star I would. I been paying for the member services for my account due to in case I have a family emergency and I can’t make the payment. But the store manager which is Gavino has terrible customer service. Always give me attitude makes me uncomfortable to even talk to him. I have asked for the district manager 3 times and nothing. Sometimes I even am afraid to answer the phone calls of Gavino. I rather text message them to have proof of the conversations. It seems like instead of the payments helping the price go down it doesn’t. I would love to talk to the district manager. And would like for my account not to be handled by Gavino please.

I was set on a big grey sectional, that was a little pricey. Came in the store talked to Rob he helped me pick a more affordable sectional and he knows what he’s doing! The sectional I got fits PERFECTLY!! It’s way more affordable and Trevor and the other gentlemen that delivered were so nice and handled my furniture with so much care!! Very happy and will be doing any further business with the NEDROW location! Thanks guys you rock!!

I dont think they are even worth one star. Wasn't pleased with there service. They where not completely honest about the information I needed for getting equipment. When I didn't give them some more information the manager got vary disrespectful. They also don't seem to care for new customer. I will never go back or refer anyone there!!

I went there for Amazon return because I got sick of the return at my usual place. The men there were courteous and quick. No line. No long walk from a parking lot.

Fast, easy, workers were great and one of them noticed that I was wearing a shirt that meatcanyon wore in a video and we talked for 10 minutes about how awesome and funny he is so that automatically makes the place great!

I am writing to file a formal complaint regarding my recent experience with the manager at the Rent-A-Center store located at 1212 Grand Avenue. For approximately one month, I have been attempting to contact the store regarding Rent-A-Center merchandise left behind by my former roommate. My only intention has been to cooperate with Rent-A-Center and arrange for the items to be picked up. When I was finally able to reach someone, the person spoke to claimed to be the store manager. I introduced myself and calmly explained the situation. Rather than listening to my explanation, the manager became hostile, raised her voice, accused me of “holding the items hostage,” and threatened that Rent-A-Center would take me to court. I found this interaction to be entirely unprofessional and very upsetting, especially given that I have spent the past month trying to return property that does not belong to me. The manager also stated that she had contacted my property manager of where I am staying.While I was in the leasing office, my property manager asked for my permission to provide Rent-A-Center with my phone number so the store could contact me directly to schedule a pickup. I immediately gave my permission. Despite having my contact information, I never received a phone call to arrange a pickup. Instead, I continued trying to contact the store for weeks before finally reaching someone, only to be treated with hostility. I have made every reasonable effort to cooperate with Rent-A-Center and ensure that the merchandise can be retrieved. My only objective has been to have the items picked up. At no point have I refused to return the merchandise or attempted to prevent Rent-A-Center from recovering its property. Because this interaction involved the store manager, I respectfully request that this complaint be reviewed by someone above the store level, such as the district or regional manager. Thank you for your time and attention. I look forward to your response.

Horrible people. Told my friend she was using her dead daughter as an excuse to not pay. Mind you she told them she got a new job before the passing of her daughter and that’s why she fell behind. They have been pestering her even tho she told them multiple times now she was going to bring everything back after the funeral. Literally called her just now and said “you’re using your dead daughter as an excuse” like excuse me???? I myself have also lost a child so this is absolutely unacceptable behavior.

I am UPDATING my review because the same behavior continues despite my asking multiple times for it to stop! I understand that Rent-A-Center has the right to contact customers regarding past due payments, and I take responsibility when I miss a payment. However, there is a significant difference between making reasonable collection attempts and repeatedly contacting someone after they have already acknowledged the payment and requested that the calls stop. Over the past month, I have continued to receive repeated back to back phone calls, including calls from different phone numbers after I blocked previous numbers, due to harassment. I have also experienced employees talking over me, pressuring me to make a payment immediately while I was on the phone after explaining I will do it when it’s convenient for me that day and displaying what I believe to be unprofessional and disrespectful behavior. I specifically asked Marcus on multiple occasions to stop repeatedly calling me because this type of communication is extremely distressing for me. I also informed him that this behavior triggers my mental health conditions. Despite those requests, the calls have continued. During one conversation, I was also told that the police could be contacted because my payment was past due, which I found unnecessary and intimidating. I have tried to communicate respectfully and explain my concerns, but I do not feel they have been taken seriously. This experience has left me feeling harassed rather than assisted as a customer. Because of these repeated interactions, I will be ending my contract, returning the furniture, and ending my business relationship with Rent-A-Center altogether. When a customer repeatedly asks for the calls to stop after acknowledging the payment and communicating with your staff, those concerns should be respected. No customer should feel pressured or repeatedly contacted after clearly communicating with your employees. I hope management reviews both its collection practices and the professionalism of its staff. Based on my experience, it is easy to understand why this location has such a low rating. I expected to be treated with respect, even if my account was past due. ORIGINAL REVIEW: I had an extremely unprofessional and stressful experience with Rent-A-Center. I was less than 5 days late on a payment and immediately started receiving excessive calls from multiple different phone numbers and area codes. Today, employees came to my home banging aggressively on my door while simultaneously calling my phone repeatedly. I was in the shower at the time, and the banging was so excessive that it woke my child up. I answered and explained that I had simply forgotten to make the payment and would take care of it as soon as I got out of the shower, but instead of giving me a moment, the calls and banging continued. The situation became unnecessarily hostile and overwhelming. After everything, they even asked if police needed to be involved because I asked them to properly schedule any pickup, especially considering they previously delayed my delivery for over a week after already accepting payment. The level of harassment and lack of professionalism was completely unacceptable and negatively affected both me and my child. I made the payment immediately after, but the issue was never about refusing to pay. .It was the aggressive behavior and complete disregard for boundaries. At this point, I would rather return the furniture than continue dealing with this kind of treatment, and I will most definitely schedule the pick up when the time is appropriate for me like I said. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL! WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS LOCATION. MARCUS AND HIS ASSISTANT.

Horrible these people made me feel so uncomfortable to purchase from them the black guy that did my order made me feel like I was about to scam or run off with there items, kept trying to tell me what they do if I don’t pay and trying his hardest not to rent to me, made me so uncomfortable I left with out placing a order. They stereotyped me I feel like because of the color of my skin ! And was not being honest about ANYTHING! Run don’t walk from this location DONOT RENT FROM THIS LOCATION

My furniture was delivered late, and my sofa set arrived missing one of its decorative pillows.On the day of delivery, I was informed that the specific bedroom set I had chosen for its vanity mirror was out of stock, and they planned to substitute it with a set from another store, causing further delays. Communication was a major issue; I had to initiate every update. Staff members were often unaware of the status of my order, and the manager continually failed to return my calls as promised.Furthermore, the delivery team brought the wrong size base for my bed, leaving me without a bed for another night. Although the manager offered one week off as a courtesy, the remainder of my bedroom set has still not been delivered. I do not recommend this store, as they consistently fail to fulfill their promises and lack basic customer communication.

Six calls to me and four calls to my husband in one day. We work for a living instead of sitting around scamming people. For a company that has been sued for harassment in the past you would think that they would calm down on something that is due today. The only reason I haven’t returned the sofa is because I’ve already invested too much money into it. The nonstop collection-style calls are bad enough, but trying to sell me additional products while harassing us with calls is beyond ridiculous. If the goal is to lose a customer for life, they’re doing a great job.

I walked in carrying a huge box of Amazon returns because they shipped me the same items twice. A young gentleman came to the door and carry the box to the back counter for me. He then had all the patience in the world while we went through the 8-9 items. He had to secure each one separately. That’s service and with a smile. I had dreaded going through this, but he kept it from being a chore. THANK YOU SO VERY MUCH!!
