I am raising a serious safety concern regarding Rent-A-Center. I personally witnessed a Rent-A-Center delivery driver operating a company vehicle while transporting a minor child during active work hours at a police station. This is extremely concerning. There are clear questions here about safety, liability, and whether this behavior is even permitted under company policy or insurance guidelines. Company delivery vehicles are not an appropriate environment for transporting minors, especially while employees are actively performing job duties. This situation reflects a lack of oversight and raises concerns about how seriously safety protocols are being followed. I expect Rent-A-Center to address this issue, clarify their policies, and ensure that this type of situation is not occurring. This is not a minor concern—it is about child safety and responsible operation of company vehicles. Do better.

Came in to make my payment and was treated with enthusiasm and genuine respect. I also inquired about a new rental and Will took care of everything from start to finish. He really made me feel great about adding a new recliner set to my account! Couldn’t be happier with the customer service and professionalism. Thanks Will!!
Put in an order for a sleeper sofa a month ago and still have not received a call from the local store to deliver the item. When we called the store all they could say was they see nothing on when it will be delivered to their store and they will call when they know something and we have called multiple times and still the same answer. Very poor customer service. Would NOT recommend.
If I could give 0 stars, I would. My fiancé and I purchased a loveseat and sofa set from here, and four days later (after one event of use in our home, because all he and I do is work) the pieces revealed themselves to be utterly infested with bedbugs. Nymphs, eggs, and adults in the crevices, under the cushions, and hiding along the wood frame underneath. All that this Rent a Center, as well as the corporate office, has done is dodge calls and lie to us about working to resolve this issue. When someone did finally get back to us, they sounded surprised that we had removed the furniture from our home and after giving them a week of time to do something about this had the furniture disposed of —as if we were expected to keep bed bug infested furniture in our home, the home that we are trying to prepare for our impending newborn, incase they ever decided to do anything about the problem that they sold to us. Completely unprofessional. Completely unethical. And as far as I’m concerned, all that this place has done is steal our money and our peace of mind. It has been two weeks, and they are still treating this as if it is a non-issue. Considering that this is a matter of public health, this is a completely unacceptable way to conduct business. I have exhausted my abilities to handle this with Rent a Center, and all that’s left to do is spread the word about our experience and to let the people of our quiet corner know that all they’re signing up for here is bedbugs, lost money, and lost sleep.
Never, ever do business with these money hungry scammers. If you buy a TV. Make sure it's actually new, and always read the contract. Even if they disagree with your complaint, they are always wrong. They violate almost every single consumer protection law out there.. Use Affirm instead of them. It will help your credit, unlike these hobos.
