Rent-A-Center

I was a loyal customer for years, purchased three sets of couches, washers, dryers, bed room sets, and then went through this location. The couch i was purchasing was very cheaply made, the zipper in the middle cushion bust open, i reported it, it was fixed, it did it again, reported it, and nothing.... shows me you don't care about your customers. Will never go through rent a center again. I've also continued to receive notices that my card will be charged again, why wouldn't you update someones payment method or cancel their future installments..... sadly it's apoorly ran location, nothing like it use to be.

I paid for two $10 promotion that covered the first week until the second full payment was due but this store at 905 e. Park Row Drive in Arlington Texas) required two additional weeks in advance before receiving the items I requested. After hearing that, I requested for my money back but they told me to connect the Corporate Office. After calling and explaining the situation to the Corporate Office Customer Service they supposedly spoke to this store on the other line and they (the store) wasn’t going to honor the promotion as advertised, and told me to request for my refund through them (the store). After I explained this store sent me to them for my refund they connected me back to this Store. I provided the Rent-A-Center Receipt numbers (441222809 and 441222864) for the two Promotional payments and they (Store Manager) said they would request for my refund. After two weeks of not receiving my refund, I connected the Corporate Office Customer Service again, they told me they had no record of the transaction and I need to get with my bank. I gave them the same Rent-A-Center Receipt Numbers and explained to them the money was taken from my account and I have a record for it but they insisted that need to get with my bank. These people deliberately took my money, didn’t honor the promotion, and didn’t return my money. The store in Arlington Texas on 905 E. Park Row Drive and the Corporate Office Customer Service is corrupted and doesn’t deserve new customers. Despite this incident, Rent-A-Center still sends me text messages and emails saying my orders are pending. Don’t trust them, they’re very disrespectful and scandalous.

Paid off in no time. If there was a hiccup, they call with the nicest courtesy and speak with comfort as if they know you. Great team!

The manager Jose was really rude and I'm not even renting from this location. He needs to learn how to speak with people. If you want a good experience call Norm and his crew in Grand Prairie.

Had a great experience at this location till Melinda came. A few days late on a payment and Melinda is yelling that it’s not her fault I had no money for my payment . Mind you 4 days late . Asked to transfer to another store Melinda and Jose lied and said the other store declined the transfer however upon calling the other store they stated they never received a call back from her after reaching out ! I asked for corporates information after being degraded by Melinda and she stated “ go ahead call corporate they love talking to me “ where is the customer service and professionalism? Would have recognized this store before however now I would not . Save your time and dignity don’t be degraded by Melinda
