Everyone I spoke to the phone with right to the time I went to the store ,they all were nice, friendly and helpful. They went went above and beyond, the manager was absolutely excellent!!!

I have been a customer for years! I had an incident recently and the Store Managers and staff jumped right in to assist. It is not often companies understand when things happen. I would recommend anyone to choose this location for superior Service!

I have been a customer of of the Rent a Center store in New Castle for many years, mostly for Laptops. First, let me tell you that the person who left a negative comment must have lots of issues because, her remark is surrounded by several very positive comments, based on my, and other's experiences, negatives should be ignored, they are not true! I have been going there, as a customer for years, and first let me tell you that the location is Spotless! Let me add, that the manager and all who work in the store are the nicest people in retail I have ever known. for me, it is Not just a business experience, it is all very personal and friendly,. Let me bring your attention to Tasha, and Lamar, her top supervisor. They have done everything for me, from ordering a special order, to calling me to make me aware of specials, and telling me when a device comes in, which I might like It isn't that, when I call to make a payment, of appear in person to do that, that it is all business, it is more friendly, and I have a special friendship with both Tasha and Lamar, Lamar being one of the hardest worker I know in a retail store, and he does everything to make sure he serves his customers with the highest level of professionalism. I would not, myself, go to any other location but to the store in New Castle, Delaware, where as soon as you walk in, you are treated as a special person and as a special customer. I recommend, that you go in there, see anyone, say hi to Tasha and Lamar, and tell them Rob said to say hi. They are the best ! In everything you want in a Rent-A- Center Store!

I received a great deal for my furniture and was welcomed with open arms by the workers. Specifically Bonnie and the amazing team they have were amazing and very helpful. Bonnie was very patient and answered every question I had. The team was very nice and helped me decide on everything they showed me. Lastly, Bonnie and the other amazing young women were kind enough to show me all of the things they had and gave me time to make a decision. I was able to get everything I was looking for and the best part was that every thing was in stock! Overall I had a great experience at this location and will recommend to everyone in the Wilmington area!

My mother bought a USED washer and dryer. She was aware that used items are sold AS IS is from rent a center. I was unaware of this when my mother purchased them or I NEVER would have allowed her to make the purchase. Let’s just say rent a center in general is a scam but when you buy used items it’s even more of a scam. Also waiting for the manager to return a call and ONLY receiving calls from sales associates is always extremely unprofessional. My mother did unfortunately get very sick right after purchasing them so she did not use it but maybe twice and the washer did not work right and broke after the second time using it. They did take that back to “fix” it but I mean I guess that’s what you could call what they did. They did provide her with a temporary machine to use but she wasn’t able to use it because of her lengthy hospitalization. While my mother was very ill in the hospital rent a center called her several times requesting payments for that washer. It wasn’t until I returned a call and told them they need to stop calling her she’s unable to answer/speak to them and explained she bought/paid for the item in full so there were no payments due. Well they continued to call. I spoke the manager ONE time and she was anything but professional and blamed me for “having a lot going on”. Over all I’d just save the money to purchase something outright and not allow rent a center to make ANY money off of you, also you can save yourself a million calls from them cause they don’t stop, even when they are in the wrong.
