Rent-A-Center

I don’t know if it’s just us having issues with Rent-a-center , NEVER go there to get anything. We initially went to look at couches. We ended up finding one we liked in our price range. We put 500 $ down and were told it’d be cleaned and we could either pick it up in 48 hrs or it could be delivered. We were so excited Tristen and his Dad went to pick it up. First red flag.. It was broken. How could they not of known if it had been supposedly cleaned? Upset as we were we gave them the benefit of the doubt ; they offered us a lender, or to choose another couch. Considering we had already put a good amount down we wanted the one we were promised. Considering its condition we were offered them fixing it for only 200$ more or 150$ taken as is. Psh 50$ difference and we don’t have to do it? We agreed to them fixing it. (which took over a month) Finally we get it delivered. The delivery guy was beyond unprofessional. They smelled to high heaven and scratched the absolute hell out of my floor. After he gets done he sits on the couch for a good 5 mins to finish the glass of water he asked for😂 Anyways we were just excited to get the couch so we said nothing and waited for our next payments. We payed the first and then when tristen went to pay the last 84$. They quite literally pulled 484$. They have gave us a million run arounds. Tristen goes up there and they put in a refund. It’s been well over 10 business days. Called corporate twice first time we get told the refund was approved and it may just take a bit. We ask for someone else and they tell us we’d get a call in 48 hrs. Never did. Call again and now there’s no refund on file.. Anyways it’s starting to look like we’re just screwed. I get it’s a long winded story but seriously don’t give these people your money. They’ll screw you over and take no accountability what so ever. I don’t know about y’all ,but we sure didn’t have 400$ just laying around.

Brandon and Abagail are great, this is hands down the best rent a center family I’ve ever seen and dealt with,they were incredibly helpful and if a situation occurs they are understandable and will work with you. There delivery men are exceptional, a lot of help and don’t just unload your stuff and leave, very good group rent a center has here!!

2024 Update- I'm unable to leave separate reviews for some reason but I worked with this team again this year and the process was even smoother! I highly recommend choosing them :) 2023 -My company worked with this team to furnish green rooms for a concert on 4th of July weekend. Their cost was very reasonable. Brandon and Abigale were easy to work with, personable, responsive and communicative. The delivery crew were prompt, friendly and got the job done quickly even while the heat was unbearable. Looking forward to working with them next year!

Amazing customer service! The manager, Angela, was the only person working, the day my son and I were there. She was very busy, with the phones ringing constantly and walk in customers. This young lady never lost her cool, and was polite to every customer she dealt with! She was knowledgeable about all products you rent- not just the ones iin the showroom, which looked great, was clean, organized and had great flow! It was a great experience, and you have Angela to thank for it! Only location I'll be using from now on!

Angela and Her team were amazing. Greeted as I walked in with a sprite, the service was absolutely timely and couldn’t be happier with my purchase. They are beautiful and very very helpful. Y’all are amazing!!!!! Want her to run my business.
