Rent-A-Center

I’ve had an account with them for over 2 years, paid off 3 products already. The current contract I’m on was a custom order and I’ve been paying on-time for more than 7 months… So in return for good history, they sent a man in a BOX TRUCK to my house, for a late payment, after I told them I would bring the product to them to hold that same day. WE WILL NEVER SHOP HERE AGAIN.

I have used this rent a center multiple times. Porcha is amazing. She will go above and beyond to help you, bundling your furniture ect. To save you $$$. Porcha is very professional, polite. I have changed my mind several times in ordering something different I found and she is extremely patient and kind. The store is clean, the men who deliver are very professional on time and careful with the furniture when they put it together. Porcha really does make this rent a center the best in Horry County.

I've been a rent a center customer for 5 years having an account never missed payments, I've had many rentals paid off with them. The Framingham and Worcester store in MA has great service. Since I moved to this area, I've had the worst service experience from this store. They are so inconvenient, knocking on my door everyday, when I told them over the phone I have covid, I'm on bed rest and gave them a date when I was going to pay for the installment. They completely disregarded the date I told them I was going to pay, instead kept sending people to knock on my door everyday while I'm home sick, pressuring me to pay them, when they want to get paid, having no respect for my situation or condition even for the fact I never denied I wasn't going to pay, I gave them a date I was going to get paid, and yett they did this awful, inappropriate, inconvenient and inconsiderate attitude towards me, disrespecting my recovery. Worst store I ever been to. I'll make sure once I recover, to pay off what I owe and transfer to another store, because I refuse to give money to an awful poor store like that. If I could give ZERO stars for the customer service to this store I would.

Not impressed with this location AT ALL. The lady I’ve been dealing with is rude and the bedroom set the sent me was not functional at all. It took them sending out people THREE times to “fix” the bed that was caving in and impossible to sleep in. The second time they send someone out, they sent a manager and he didn’t even fix it. Finally the third time someone was sent out they gave me the correct thing that I had initially asked for to begin with. I plan on paying this stuff off asap and never dealing with this location again. You need to work on customer service and addressing the issue someone brings up immediately, rather than trying to rig something to work when you were told time and time again it was not working. Also they added some insurance to my account that I didn’t ask for or approve, and when I asked it be removed- they never did it. I’m just over these people all together.

Best Customer Service!!!! 5 Stars. The staff is helpful and very knowledgeable about their inventory. Would highly recommend them to anyone. No matter when I call they always get back to me about any questions I have. Thanks Jeff, Chris, & Melissa for being so awesome.
