Questions not answered, felt coerced, paid deposit, signed paperwork, not told that some of the units were used. A whole lot of lack of communication and false promises! Was told they'd deliver FRIDAY, 03 April 2026. No one called or made an appointment. I've been here all day, got up early to make sure all bedding was up and areas prepped. NO CALL NO SHOW; I wish I'd seen these reviews PRIOR to going into the store. We've lost time and money! We currently have zero furniture the store is closing (and not answering the telephones) I'm disabled and without reliable, safe transportation; so, going to the store isn't an option! So, we sleep on the floors again and we continue to sit on floors DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME, ENERGY OR MONEY They take advantage of lower income/fixed income, thwy aren't truthful and evade questions or being held accountable
There are serious concerns about possible financial misconduct involving specific staff members. Issac, a manager in the computer department and accounting, has allegedly instructed customers to pay late fees in cash. Those payments were not reflected on account statements, and the same fees were later charged again. This suggests the cash may not be entering the company’s accounting system. Another general manager, who is the Asian lady, "Lutz" has allegedly assisted Issac by approving “temporary furniture sales” connected to short-term loans that appear designed to move money between departments and obscure where funds are going. I strongly recommend that corporate compliance review cash payments, loan approvals, and inter-department transfers involving these individuals. Customers should proceed with caution and keep all receipts and records until this matter and associated allegations are formally investigated.

but yall aren't renting the school busses so WHY YOU GOT EM. something bad going on here. something evil. Wasilla got a bigggggggg secret. why dont you show?
Manager was incredibly rude and disrespectful. Refused to give district mangers number.
Completely unprofessional behavior from their manager Lutz. We had a couch scheduled to be delivered by 5pm. 5pm rolls around and nothing no word or anything so we decided to call the office. The office phones are down so I drive to the location and ask about an update on our expected delivery. I was then very rudely greeted and informed by lutz that they had already reached out to us that our couch just wasn’t going to be delivered today. I inform them that we called and the phones were down and she also expressed that their phones were down when they attempted to call us. They have communicated with us multiple times through email or by calling us through their personal numbers. But instead I was told oh well we had reached out to you and you never responded to us so it won’t be delivered today. We had to take off work to get this couch deliver and re-arrange the entire place to get this done. She kept telling me they had done their due-diligence by reaching out while acknowledging their phones were down and they were unable to complete the call. She offered a cash in deal or credit for the couch due to us trading in for this couch. She informed me that we had until the next billing cycle to make a decision. I called my partner and we discussed it while I was still in the store. We decided to go with the cash in deal and we informed Lutz of this. Who said “Okay I will get that updated”. We decided on another day for the couch to be delivered and we noticed the cash in deal wasn’t added yet so we talked to the employee delivering and he called Lutz for us. My partner discussed this on the phone with Lutz for a second time regarding that we would like to go for the cash in deal. AGAIN for the second time she said “okay I will get that updated for you” Well I say all of that to say today my partner went in because she noticed that the cash in deal hadn’t been shown on our account. When she went in Lutz immediately came at her yelling and screaming causing an employee to cover his ears and walk away. She informed my partner that we were told she had till the next day to come and do it. Yet we had already discussed when I went in to check the updated status of this we told her we were going with the cash in deal! The employee who did the delivery was there and stated to lutz that “I don’t remember you saying that you told them till the next billing cycle.” She then snapped on her employee stating “If you aren’t going to be a good witness go somewhere else.” She then proceeded to talk over my partner for the entire duration of this visit. My partner upset asked for the district managers number which Lutz refused to supply to us. This is absolutely unprofessional behavior from the manager Lutz and I will never use Rent-a-Center again and will not recommend this place to anyone.

Definitely do not recommend purchasing any furniture from here manager Lutz is completely unprofessional and doesn’t have basic customer service skills They’re never great about communication or bringing your deliveries on time or even bring right furniture I’ve never been to a business that has been so unorganized and have employees that did not know how to do their jobs
