How It Works

Worker Justin will speed down alleys, park on opposite side of the road breaking road laws, cover up home security cameras with his hat while he tries to force entry into your home, threaten to have you arrested and charged with felony’s… this worker is extremely unprofessional and I’d advise anyone looking to get a product from rent a center, to avoid the south limestone store at all costs… They also gave me a product that was damaged and broken and when I tried getting it replace a worker named Tommy told me it was basically my fault and I had no way to prove to them that it was broken before leaving the store… Avoid this location at all costs.
They won't repair what you have if you have a warranty. Called them fourmonths ago requesting a computer repair because my gpu was going out. They said they'll get back to me. My laptop is two months paid off, my warranty is paid up until march still. Still haven't heard from them about the warranty. They'll sure as hell call me to get me to buy something else though
The employees are very professional. Have not 1 issue. But the merchandise is cheap. I have had a lot of problems with washer and dryer. Over a month washer was down. Cracked up a huge laundry mat bill. Almost $600 but yet they want their money. Finally got another washer (used) I was paying for a brand new one. Now issues with this one. Issues with my dryer now. They ordered part 3 wks ago but dryer door still has to be healed closed with a board to dry my clothes. They want their money but I want working appliances.
I have been with Rent-a-center for many years and every time I turn around there is a problem I literally have been waiting a full 6 and a 1/2 months For a stove door And many times they told my husband they would get it and many times I spoke to the manager Brian himself. It even went as far as Brian himself calling my husband's phone restricted Just to try to get more money out of him when we were told not to make a payment on the stove until we received the door the door how low do they have to be!! I think I'm done with Rent-a-center But I finally got the door 2 days ago it wasn't even the door it was just the glass Absolutely beyond disappointed
Lots of "miscommunications" in the years I've been a customer. Most of the trouble stemming from Brian the manager, his social skills when interacting with customers is atrocious. Brian and Jamie from this location attempted to give me a bad reference when trying to rent from a different store, telling them lies that I hadn't paid my bill. Kept with this story until i recovered my debit card transactions proving i did indeed pay off the item. He did change his reference to the new store but definitely some added stress that I did not need. He wasn't changing his tune until he knew I had proof and i threatened to get my lawyer involved for Brian and Jamie lying on me. I wouldn't if I were you! Good luck if you choose to go with this particular location. Also, there was talk of three employees pocketing payments, so be sure to keep ALL receipts
