Kept my card on auto pay, after I revoked authorization. Not only did they allow an automatic payment to go through, they charged a late fee as well.

20 years a customer and I return something get told I can’t rent until it’s paid off, pay off the account and boom they black list my account so I can’t rent with rent a center. Thanks so much for your customer service great job Sean and Aaron.

My family had been long time customers of the store. In June 2025, my father passed away suddenly and my mother & I shared an account for a laptop & a portable air conditioner. Now, common sense tells anyone that when someone who is on Social Security dies they person’s income stops until their widow goes thru what the government calls the Widow’s Meeting for the process to start for my mother to receive my father’s income happens. I was always very open, up front, and honest with Shawn and the store that the government schedules the call and it’s not our choice when the meeting is, but in the meantime my mother is living without my father’s income aka what would pay the bill. Instead of being supportive and working with someone who went thru a tragic loss and trying to help, Shawn decided to call me, the daughter and tell me he’s calling about the account in my mother’s name. He then proceeds to use bullying tactics acting almost as if he’s a loan shark that belongs in Vegas somewhere instead of being a decent human. My mother had inadvertently forgot to call the store back when they had called which should be understandable in a time like this, and which I apologized 3 times for and proceeds to tell me, it BETTER be paid on by Saturday or bring the stuff back. Now, I’m in the process of going thru testing for a heart condition to which I need medication for and that air conditioner weighs well over 100 lbs. As I thought about it throughout the week, I got more & more frustrated and when speaking to my mother we made the decision to return everything and call it done. After 15 years, we were finished. I will NOT be bullied and I will not allow my mother to be either. Then, instead of sending their truck to bring back the air conditioner, I’m told by Corey to just put everything in my van and call when I get there and someone will help get the air conditioner out. Now, common sense tells anyone that I still have to lift that unit into my vehicle which means overtaxing my heart. What is wrong with you people? Good riddance. Do better and treat people better because someday, this could be one of you going thru this. What a way to end a 15 year relationship.
