Rent-A-Center is a national rent-to-own chain with 1,948 stores across all 50 states, reaching communities from Lawrence, Massachusetts and Kissimmee, Florida to Harlingen, Texas and Booneville, Mississippi. Launched in 1973 in Wichita, Kansas, it was the first national chain to scale the rent-to-own model, building standardized showrooms stocked with new, name-brand merchandise. Rent-A-Center holds a 4-star Google rating across more than 152,000 reviews. Compare Rent-A-Center on VRTO alongside other rent-to-own stores near you, with hours, ratings, and what each carries.

Customer reviews
Paid for first week a month later no delivery and they said they wont without another payment. Bait and switch getting a group together for a lawsuit. Zero communication during this time.
The 2 people who delivered my furniture were the nicest and most respectful. They took the extra time and care to get my furniture in my house and set up when it was nearly impossible. They made it happen when it looked like it wasn’t going to happen. I love rent a center for the prices and the people!
Excellent service 👏 👍 and great loyalty 👏 by putting quality over quantity 👌 and making the costumer feel right at home in the time of need 😀
Great experience great product and some weeks when I was hurting for money you guys were there to help me I greatly appreciate everything and I will definitely be back again.
Very poor customer service.I was approved for credit but when they went to call my references and after I paid my first initial payment,I never received a phone call back for any updates at all,or a phone call back just to see if they needed more information.I was in limbo for like a week. Then without any explanation at all I received a refund.I didn't any explanation at all telling me why I didn't get what I paid for.
After RAC tried to get me to leave Aaron's and try them, I did and now they say I am not good enough to get their credit approval. They even said I was qualified when they were trying to get me to switch, looks like they talk out of both sides of their mouth. That's wrong
