Rent-A-Center

I just realized that I have been dealing with this specific store for a few years now. Me and my wife have purchased 2 bunk bed sets, a 86 inch flat screen, a living set, an oversize recliner, a fireplace tv stand a bar stool kitchen treble, a bedroom set, and a washer and dryer. Yes we've pretty much furnished our whole home lol and it's all paid off. The team there, Cory, keion Jerry and the delivery drivers are all AMAZING. I would recommend this store in particular to anyone looking for anything they need. Friendly, understanding and will work with you as long as you do your part they will go above and beyond. Trust me when I say do not hesitate to go through them.

I paid my first payment and they said that was just to hold the item. I have had three delivery dates and still nothing yesterday I waited all day after making a two week payment if I don’t have by Friday I just want refunded. I have left message after message and no one is calling me back.

UPDATE!!! Boy Rent-A-Center is a Joke. So i called the 1800 number that Rent-A-Center asked me to call wasting my time and Dave who said his name was refused to give me anyone to fix the situation. There was no honesty in the company to fix the situation. They sent the message as a PR move and truly did nothing or even listen to why I wrote the first review. Dave allowed me to speak to no one giving excuses. Maybe they get into trouble if they ask for a manager because he did not allow me to speak to anyone at corporate. Americans I am a Marine of 10 years. Rent-A-Center is truly a joke and is robbing people of their money. As I said calll logs will show i tried calling and resolvong the issue that THEY ASKED ME TO CALL. LOOK BELOW AT RENT-A-CENTERS first response. I made it clear to the phone operator Dave that i was directly posting to this experiemce and the arrogance of this company to not care. Well i dont serve to allow companies to take advamtage of Americans and right now until they show me different this company does. You truly can rent to own through Home Depot and their 3rd party programs for the same exact price and some prices better than Rent-A-Center. Whats cool is the Appliances and things are NEW through Home Depot instead of old used items through RENT-A-CENTER. As before 5 years Ago in 2020 I rented from Rental-A-Center amd it was not like this. It is worse NOW and you have options outside this company. And some of the 3rd parties with Home Depot are just like Rent-A-Center. Your items are just new not old and Rent-A-Center should be ashamed on how I was treated on the phone only returning the call they asked me to do on here and how they think it's fair to Americans to take advantage of them like they do!!!! First review¡!!! items are not the best and they are very over priced. Even for their black Friday deals were in all used amlnd old looking things. I rented from them 5 years ago and boy have they spiraled downward!! It's ridiculous your better off using Home Depot in a payment plan because that's exactly what your paying for used items in Renta Center.

This has got to be the worst rent-a-center in Michigan. Between Jerry and Cory I’m not sure who’s the worst. I guess that can be up for debate. However one thing that is NOT ACCEPTABLE in any situation is for you to drive your box truck through my yard because YOU missed the driveway. And I do have video proof of this happening. Your intimidation tactics do not work. That won’t get you anywhere. Destruction of my private property will not be good for you either. I suggest somebody reach out to this store and figure out why they thought that would be acceptable instead of turning around the proper way. Think I’ll be going to Aaron’s from now on if need be. This is unacceptable.
