I had a great experience with Rent-A-Center in Chula Vista. The staff went above and beyond, especially Julio, Jose, and Elsa, who provided outstanding customer service from start to finish. I bought a sofa that may not fit in my living room , but instead of leaving me without options, they immediately worked on solutions and recommended a replacement sofa that better fit my needs. What really stood out was their commitment to customer satisfaction. They not only found the right alternative quickly, but also managed to arrange delivery for the very next day—something they originally said might take longer, but they made it happen. Their teamwork, communication, and willingness to help made the entire process smooth and stress-free. They made me feel valued and treated me like family rather than just another customer. I truly appreciate their professionalism and care, and I highly recommend this location for anyone looking for reliable service and genuine support.

I would like to just say that Martha, the manager has a very good attitude great customer service and people skills! And Rent-A-Center should employ more people like her. I also would like to comment on Elisa another employee Luis and Julio are great helpful and very personable. I would recommend this store for you to get all your rent to own needs. I give them five stars because I will go back there again and this would be my location.! thank you Martha and Lisa Luis and Julio you guys are awesome people! Not only the price is good. I left there very satisfied and happy with my purchase of my marvel table and my massager chair once again thank you.

Always very happy with our purchases/deliveries we have been renting to own with this location for about 4 years now the whole team is amazing caring and really love what they do we just want to say thank you to Elisa Luis Julio and martha for all that you do and taking care of us every time!

Horrible customer service I’m currently renting out a phone that was supposedly new and the battery life is worn out, I talked to Elyssa store manager to talk about pricing as I thought it was unfair to pay such high price for a refurbished item marked as new. The moment I walked into the store she was rude and unprofessional. I work at a rental business myself and could not bring myself to give the level of attitude and entitlement Elyssa has. I asked for a contract transfer to the national city store and the manager said “I won’t do it return your items and get something else with them” absolutely horrible way to treat a customer. RENT A CENTER DO BETTER

I’ve been using this location for years! After switching from Multiple locations around me. This location is further from me, but the service I receive is amazing! Elisa Is so easy to work with I highly recommend this location if anyone is struggling elsewhere!

Don't recommend this store. The manager Lisa is terrible. They have terrible customer service. They cant even call with a courtesy call on whats going on with your stuff. They picked up my units to supposedly fix and I never got a call not once. According to her units are out of warranty. Im sure she does not know how warranty works. Obviously warranty is only for manufacture defects. She deleted my contract never told me never bothered calling me I had to reach out after a whole month. Don't waste your time coming and getting stuff at this location. Never had problems at other location. They do really shady things over here.
