Early buyout rights required Consumer may purchase the property at any time by paying 50% of the remaining periodic payments plus any past-due amounts.
Repossession rules Must provide at least 7 days written notice of default. Consumer has reinstatement rights.
Disclosure requirements Must disclose total payments, total cost, cash price, whether item is new or used, and the early purchase option. Agreement must be in writing.
