What to Expect at This Store
Visiting a rent-to-own store is straightforward. Here is a general overview of what to bring and how the process typically works. Requirements may vary — contact Rent-A-Center directly to confirm.
What to Bring
- Valid photo ID — driver's license, state ID, or passport
- Proof of income — recent pay stub, bank statement, or benefits letter
- Proof of residence — utility bill, lease agreement, or mail with your address
- Personal references — typically 3-4 contacts with phone numbers
How It Works
- 1 Browse in store — choose from available furniture, appliances, electronics, and more
- 2 Apply — no traditional credit check at most stores; approval is based on income and residency
- 3 Get approved — many stores offer same-day approval and immediate access to your items
- 4 Delivery or pickup — most stores include free delivery, setup, and ongoing service/maintenance
Typically included with rent-to-own agreements:
Free delivery and setup, service and maintenance for the life of the agreement, the option to return items at any time without penalty, and an early purchase option (EPO) to buy the item outright before the lease ends. Rent-to-own is not a loan or credit purchase. Specific terms vary by store.

Great people. Amazing help. Not a bad deal at all for getting a washer and dryer. I would recommend this location for sure!
I needed a new fridge they had the basically the exact one I wanted I got it hime and realized the water lines inside were messed up so I told the store and they ordered the parts for me to fix it dont mind doing that just another project I never had anywhere do anything like that
Unfortunately I can't put less than 1 star. My rental agreement was due Saturday but a misalignment in other bills failed me so mon morning I called Erin at rent a center on west chestnut stto set an arrangement to pay Friday 6 days late she set the payment and said all was good...Tuesday I had someone from the store knocking on my door for a payment that was scheduled for Friday Thursday I received a text message from Erin who was the one who set the payment saying I was scheduled to have my merchandise picked up for non payment Thursday afternoon while at work someone once again came yo my house. I don't know who runs that circus but you should try to organize the clowns
If i could give 0 I would. GO ANYWHERE BUT HERE. Wanted to share a traumatic experience I just had with this company. I am a single mother. I do the absolute best I can for my daughter and I. I don’t get child support. Our only income is that I get from my job. I needed a washer so I went here to get one. With the holidays and my daughters birthday being a month apart, money is really tight. My last check was only enough to pay my rent. I planned on paying them when I get paid Wednesday. I ALWAYS make my payments, maybe late, but I do my best. Should I have communicated better about my financial situation? Absolutely. But is the way I was treated, which I will explain below, justified? I was at work and got a call from the work phone from my sister that people were banging on the door saying they were going to come in. She is 16 years old, and they were 2 GROWN men. She called me freaking out so I left work and head to my house. As soon as I got there I asked them why they were harassing my 16 year old sister. I was absolutely infuriated!! I understand you have a job to do, but if a child tells you they are a child who doesn’t reside at the location, you stop. There was no stop in sight. They proceeded to make fun of me for “being mad” because I didn’t make my payment. Because I’m broke and can’t pay a bill. I explained that I am a single mother who tries her best, and they made fun of me for living in public housing. I told them to please just get the washer and leave. Once they got the washer disconnected, they said they don’t know how to turn the water off, good luck. They left with the water running all over my laundry room and flooding. Police were called and a report was made, everything is documented. I called the store manager and told her how I was treated, no sympathy. You didn’t make your payment. I told her how money has been tight and that she knows I always make my payments, how did i deserve this treatment? I told her how they made fun of me for being a single mom who can’t pay her bills and lives in public housing, and explained that most of the people who go to them for business, go to them because they’re in similar situations like me! Being a single parent is exhausting! Sometimes you need help so you go to these businesses who claim to be a place you can go to during hard times. And I will say prior to this, my experience with them has been amazing! I am shocked and baffled that the two men at my house today work at the same place I’ve been renting stuff from for over a year. I added a photo of the conditions the employees left my home in.
I had my couch and TV almost paid off added a laptop I was only 3 days late she said I was 9 days late. We had been with them for about a yr now and the new girl is so so rude and is a bitch. Then we told.them to.come get their stuff and they want money still from us. Well sorry Charlie it gonna get a dime from me. Then they send us stuff in the mail with all these.deals which you cant take advantage if you are not a first time customer or have an acct with them. It BS. My advice is to go to Arrons better deals and more to choose from.
