Because I was late, you called me 52 times in 24 days and drove over 40 miles round trip more than 5 times to hang some stupid door hangers on my door. Only once I answered because your crazy knocking on my door window made me think there was an emergency. Your letters went straight to the trash. You even questioned my neighbor, of which is a disabled veteran whom given me a written sworn statement of the fiasco. I informed you Id make a catch up payment when I return from my work. So no, your harassing techniques are completely unwelcome. Yes I was 3 weeks behind, but this doesn't excuse your tactics. Generic auto-reply written to appease the foolish. See below:

I have been a customer with the Ames Rent A Center for about a year now and any time I have an issue, need to have something changed or fixed, Jamal is always so wonderful to work with!! He is kind, remembers your name and always has a smile on his face! His customer service skills are top notch!!! His team are all very nice as well!!! I will continue to give my business to them!!
Ok I came and met the sales representative name Donna Crump and she was very helpful and friendly. I told her what i wanted and she smiled with a friendly attitude as I was looking to start an account with you guys. I must say and admit that she did a wonderful job among helping me get what I was looking for and also we had a very friendly conversation as well and she made me feel welcome and like I’m family and I’m glad to have met her and I will most definitely recommend everyone to her in the Ames Iowa location. I just want to say thank you so much Ms Crump and I will most definitely be back again.
Can’t leave 0 stars. Was lied to about delivery!! No contact was made!!!! When setting up purchase, we told the clerk (Jamal) that I WOULD BE HOME ALL DAY! Waiting on refund!! Update. Contacted customer support. Explained what my problem was, and asked for a refund. Was told 10-14 business days for refund. STILL WAITING FOR MY REFUND!!!
I absolutely looove this location. The manager Kaitlyn is so patient, and definitely has great customer service. I would recommend this location to everyone in the Ames area. I most DEFINITELY left there with a smile, and STILL enjoy doing business with them after months of service. Great job to the whole team.
