So at the ending of 2025 i informed the front street location that the oven had cracked. And that the clock on it is no longer working. It has been a month and a half i had to call to get an updated and acted very rude towards me telling me that they didnt crack it.. I understand that you didnt crack it but it did crack and thats why i pay warranty on the item.. but that they didnt know till when they would get another set and didnt offer me any other type of swap or anything. I havnt even had the over a year for the clock on it to not work to the point i cant even use the oven because i cant see what temp its at. I have bought a washer and dryer and now a stove i was looking at a fridge with you guys and wanting a sofa set soon. But this is leaving a bad taste in my mouth. To where i dont even know if i will continue to buy from you guys. I never miss any payments. I always pay on time if not early. This is how you treat your loyal customers? I will be trying to get in contact with corporate regarding this issue
It was good overall but frustrating at times when it comes to payment's. I had informed the person who was handling my account in the past to remove my old bank account from auto pay(she said she did, but didn't remove it) and it had a nsf happen because the bank account was not active and they tried to make me pay for her mistakes. I refused and I guess once the new management team took over they seen that I had paid over and called it even. They said that I was paid off and things were good until a few months later I get a knock on my door with ppl trying to pick up my furniture and saying I owed for the furniture and was behind 3 months!! It got taken care of in the parking lot but nevertheless I shouldn't have been put in that scenario at all!! I will definitely use yall in the future but it will be better I hope.
Employees/management are rude and disrespectful to customers. They feel entirely comfortable cussing out and using further foul language any time a payment does not go through. Rather than figuring out the issue to resolve it (i.e., my money was in the wrong account and just needed to be transferred over, a simple 5 minute fix) They jump right into obscenities. So if you enjoy being treated like garbage by an establishment who does not respect or value it’s customers, this is the place for you. Otherwise, just go to Aaron’s.
I've been renting to own through this company for years and I've never had an issue until the last few weeks, I run late on my payments when they are over the weekend due to being a weekend worker and it usually isn't that big of a deal. The last few weeks on Saturday THE DUE DATE OF MY PAYMENT, I've received an absurd amount of calls while I'm working. Nick is an amazing manager, but I feel like some of his employees are a little too conservative.
I have ordered from rent a center before and had an acceptable experience. I had no complaints about the transaction. The order I most recently placed I am not happy with at all and displayed poor customer service. I spoke with Michael on 5/23/22 to make arrangements for the dyer I ordered online to be delivered. Delivery was set up for 5/24/22 between 1pm-3pm. At 3:24pm on 5/24/22 there was no delivery and no phone call from anyone updating me on the delivery. I called and spoke with Dion (I believe that was his name) and let him know I was calling for an update on the delivery that was supposed to be between 1pm-3pm. He stated that when they pick up something from another store they bring it back to their store to make sure it works properly before delivery. Apparently the dryer they picked up wasn't working properly. I get that these things happen but I was upset at this point for two reasons. One because I should have been called and informed there was an issues as soon as they realized the dryer wasn't working properly and it would delay delivery, very unprofessional that I wasn't called. Two I needed the dryer today because I am currently taking care of my elderly father that is fighting cancer and I need a properly working washer and dryer in the house due to some of the issues we have to deal with. Anyway at this point I only expressed that I needed the dryer today and that I wasn't going to be home past 5pm due to prior arrangement. So Dion tells me that he is going to go check to see if they were making any progress with fixing it and give me a call back. This was no later than 3:30pm when we ended the all and he stated he would call me back. At 4:08 pm I had to callback because I had not recieved a call. At this point I was told that they would have to get another dryer for me tomorrow (5/26/22) if that was ok. I expressed what choice I have. I asked when I could expect the delivery and was very disappointed to be informed between 1pm-3pm again. At this point I did inform Dion as to my dissatisfaction on how this was handled and that it was bad business practice. I do believe he apologized that I felt that way but it really didn't seem sincere. As much as I need this dryer, if it is not delivered as expected tomorrow I may cancel the other all together and see if I can find it with someone else.
