Rent-A-Center is a national rent-to-own chain with 1,948 stores across all 50 states, reaching communities from Lawrence, Massachusetts and Kissimmee, Florida to Harlingen, Texas and Booneville, Mississippi. Launched in 1973 in Wichita, Kansas, it was the first national chain to scale the rent-to-own model, building standardized showrooms stocked with new, name-brand merchandise. Stores carry furniture, appliances, electronics, computers, mattresses, gaming, and smartphones on flexible weekly or monthly lease agreements, and like most rent-to-own stores they typically do not require a traditional credit check. Rent-A-Center holds a 4-star Google rating across more than 152,000 reviews. Compare Rent-A-Center on VRTO alongside other rent-to-own stores near you, with hours, ratings, and what each carries.

Customer reviews
Super rude service when trying to use Amazon returns. The lady exclaimed that they were too busy to offer help and to come back tomorrow.
My wife signed a legal binding contract yesterday and now they want to change everything after we signed a CONTRACT so I'll be taking legal actions hope they like court
Jonathan Dunn made my experience easy and was extremely helpful. I will definitely be using your service so long as he is working there. In my opinion, he needs a raise because of how well he did in helping me find precisely what I needed, even making suggestions to help me with my latest move in.
I went online and filed out the application. They called me the next business day to finish the application then delived my stove! It was very quick and simple, I loved it! Everyone was very nice and respectful.
Very rude employees! Man had an attitude the whole time I was speaking with him. And then I was hung up on before getting the information about a product I was inquiring about. My boyfriend was also hung up on a few minutes before I called about the same product. Very unprofessional behavior here!!!! 😡
