We have been customers at this RAC for about 15 yrs now. We have always paid our items off, and they were really helpful if we were struggling to make a payment on time. Today I was informed that our account was too new to allow a late payment just 3 days from now! I told the guy that the account was around 15 yrs old and never been denied a small grace period if needed. You would think that they would want to retain long-time customers who have ALWAYS paid off their items.

Today I was informed that our account was too new to allow a late payment just 3 days from now! I told the guy that the account was around 15 yrs old and never been denied a small grace period if needed. You would think that they would want to retain long-time customers who have ALWAYS paid off their items.
I have been a customer of this store for at least 10 years and haven’t had a negative experience until recently. I have always paid off my items and there have been several, granted I may be late on some payments but have always paid! Recently my husband had a massive heart attack and we are down to only my income so I called and to ask if I could pay two payments next week and was told NO! A little grace goes a long way!!! Wendy was always very kind and always tried to help as much as she could! The new manager gives no grace or help when you need it!! So sad that I won’t be getting anything else from broken arrow rent a center….
I have been a customer of this store for at least 10 years and haven’t had a negative experience until recently. I have always paid off my items and there have been several, granted I may be late on some payments but have always paid! I pay extra every month for Rent-A-Center’s payment protection, but that doesn’t seem to mean anything to them when you’re even a day late. Life happens—I recently missed work due to my child’s health issues, which made me fall behind. Even then, I always pay, whether it’s a couple days or, at most, two weeks late. Despite that, the constant calls and borderline harassment are completely unnecessary and extremely stressful. A little compassion and recognition of my consistent effort to pay would go a long way. I expect better from a company I’ve been loyal to. Will not be a return customer after I purchase my items.
