I'm all for giving the benefit of the doubt in most situations but I was straight up lied to on the phone today and SO rude. My autopayment comes out on Saturday morning, I had forgotten to move the money from my savings to my checking before going to work. While I was at work I had 3 missed calls and one rude voicemail demanding that I call back. When I did call them after I got off work(I'm not allowed to be on my phone at work) I got such attitude from the person that answered the phone. I was then charged a different amount than what I owe, had to put more money into my checking to pay it again and when I asked about the first charge I was told that they had never charged me any other amount (as I'm literally looking at the charge on my account) It was then stated that someone else remembered having this same conversation with me previously (never happened). Also, why is it that they couldn't tell me what their company shows up as in my bank when a charge occurs, she said"I don't know, probably Rent A Center." It, in fact, doesn't show up as Rent a Center until it processes. I understand that some people skip out on paying what they owe but I was not rude, so I don't understand why they were rude to me. And if it wasn't Rent a Center that charged the initial amount why is that amount now being refunded to my account. I would have accepted an "oh, I'm sorry, that was the wrong amount." Or something similar, not denying that the charge was even from there and making me sound like an idiot.
I've always had a great experience with rent a center. Delt with them for years. Donnie and the crew are simply phenomenal at the Akron ohio Arlington Rd. Store
Rented my washer and dryer from them that’s mine now now I’m on my second purchase with them I don’t wanna say what I have until it’s paid off but I will say my daughter broke it I called them they said bring it in they took it and said pick it up Saturday and that’s what I love about this place they help you in the best way they can they are always so happy in the work place it’s clean and if they don’t have what you want they will help you to get what you like this won’t be my last purchase cause that’s got me locked in because they are so amazing 💙
Worst customer service ever!!! Nothing but disrespect. Ive been a loyal customer for almost 2 yrs. Ive been harrassed, yelled at then hung up on. After these people insulted an elder woman. Accused her about lying about the identity of her grand daughter in her own home! The Arlington rd location in Akron Ohio are the worst. Do NOT do business with these people. Don decided to leave early to go bowling instead of returning my call and making this situation right and apologize to me for his employees poor behavior.
Seriously, the best customer service experience Very long time. it doesn’t matter what your situation is they’re willing to work with you. The main person that will help you her name is Jann. Treat her with respect and I promise she will help you anyway possible!! Steve and Aj are the two who deliver and they are respectful courteous and fast!!!! The boss there Don is the bet manager I met in a long time. Too bad they not hiring! I’d fit in great!! All positive vibes!!!!
