I had a horrible experience with this Company when I order pre owned furniture,the employee told me that it was never shipped out the warehouse so it was not used That was lie when I received my furniture it was dirty had staines and I told them it was dirty she told me too wiped it down with a warm cloth. Okay the next day I get off work and lay on the couch and I woke up to a bug bite and I had 2 welp on my leg so I immediately got up and looked on the couch and I seen a bug a bed bug and I called Rent-A-Center and told them what happened to me and I put the furniture outside and after that they told me to make a claim, but it was a horrible experience It’s like they didn’t take accountability even though multiple coworkers told me that they have a bug Infestation even they pest control that they sent out here said they always get calls for bugs I will never order furniture from there again, so be aware and be mindful what you order from Rent-A-Center they can say it’s new but I wouldn’t trust that they can just clean and put plastic over it and say it’s new I wouldn’t dare get furniture from here again and also I been a loyal customer for years but that blow me Especially the way I got treated like I wasn’t the victim.this happened September 2025

I want to give a huge thank you to the Rent-A-Center on Vivian in Kansas City, Missouri. I recently worked with Marquis, who is new, but you would never know it. He was incredibly patient, kind, and knowledgeable — he took the time to walk me through everything at my own pace, which meant so much as I am older and disabled. When the washer and dryer set I originally picked wasn’t available, I tried to order online and became very confused with the process and deposit. Sierra, the store manager, noticed what happened and immediately reached out the very next day. She invited me into the store, personally helped me find something within my budget, and made sure everything was made right. Both Sierra and Marquis went above and beyond to make sure I was taken care of. The entire staff is wonderful, accommodating, and truly cares about their customers. I couldn’t be happier with my experience, and I highly recommend this location for anyone looking for excellent service and genuine people who will treat you with respect.

First washer came, it did not function correctly. Either it's balance was off or it had a belt issue that would cause it to shake and rock itself. Okay, no problem, called and got a second washer delivered. Amazingly, this one is even worse, it doesn't even process water and refuses to even fill the machine. I would stay away if I were you.

I have enjoyed using rent a center but I’m not really happy because we were told the first week we got our couch that someone is gonna be out here to fix it because we were given it to us with a tear but we have dogs so we have been not able to have our dogs in the couch or anything because of the top and we are returning all of our furniture EXCEPT our bedroom set because we have no furniture so we can save money and not be late on any payments . But yes our only issue was the couch never being fixed….
