If I could give no stars I would. By far the most unprofessional, unorganized inept at basic communication business I've ever dealt with in my 40 years. From the paperwork to the delivery was nothing but issues. I sowed proof of consistent income and explained that I was a 1099 contractual employed, they didn't even know what that was. I went on to explain that I dont have a specific day I get paid on; it depends on how many contracts I complete, and I needed to make my payments bi-weekly. They stated "that's fine". It doesn't stop there~ So I paid the bi-weekly payment up front for a black Samsung washer and dryer set, they stated "that they would be delivered 2 days from the date I paid; and it had to be ordered from their warehouse, because no stores near by had my specific model in store. Okay great! Wait there is more~ After the 5th day of waiting on my washer and dryer I called to check the delivery status. They stated they had to go get mine from Cincinnati. Not ideal but that's fine. Two days later I get a call from them asking for payment...I'm like "my agreement is for bi-weekly and I havent even received my order yet" "OK, Mr Chapman that's fine". Okay great! So 11 days of waiting for my black Samsung washer and dryer, they delivered me white LG washer and dryer instead. I'm like "wait a minute, this isn't what I ordered" they stated "oh, well we didn't have that one so we gave you this instead " Not ideal, but at least I can wash my filthy clothes. A week later... Recieved another call from them. "Mr Chapman we haven't gotten a payment yet this week. I reminded them again that I was a bi weekly 1099 employee. "Well, Mr Chapman in order for us to do that you gotta come in and pay both weeks, because we set you up weekly". I stated that we had this exact same conversation a week prior and she (the store manager, mind you) that she had no recollection of the conversation we had that week; and abrasively stated that she still needed my payment, and threatened to repossess the washer and dryer that I didn't order, paid for twice before they were even delivered, made 6 payments on in 4 weeks. Come get these out of my house please. I dont do business with people like that. That's not the end of it! The guy was here in 30 minutes. As he was removing the appliances he damaged family heirloom that belonged to a deceased relative; dumped gallons of water in my laundry room floor and knocked over my ring camera (I have the video) destroyed it by running it over with his cart. Aaron's was much more professional that day when they delivered exactly what I ordered, that day for half the cost! Thanks rent a center for being a complete and utterly terrible experience, because I wouldn't have saved money and got exactly what I ordered 😀
The staff at this location are amazing, they’ve went above and beyond to help me from the moment I stepped in the store. I came in for a washer and dryer, the process was straight to the point. It didn’t take them long at all to get me scheduled for delivery. They’ve helped me with my payments when I’ve had questions or needed to extend. Very kind and understanding, I appreciate everything.

My Brother and I want everyone to know just exactly how you would be treated at,Rent-A-Center on 7th St. My Brother and I have been a customer for over 1-year with that store and we have Always made our payments on time and even paid off Two pieces of furniture. We recently lost some furniture in a fire due to our Landlord,and my Brother and I put in a Fire Report with pictures to Rent-A-Center, and according to them we both still owe on the furniture that was lost in the fire due to the contract we signed. My Brother and I are still paying for that furniture and there has been a few times we were late making a payment due to my job,but we have Always called ahead time and informed them that we might be a little late on our payment but we Always make up for the late payment. But the New Manager and the District Manager are very Rude and Unprofessional,you can't talk to them because of their Attitude they have towards their customers, especially to regular customers. They even send someone to your house,even though you do make your payments. I would Strongly advise everyone to go to another store besides this one,that is if you want to be treated right like a customer should be treated. Good Luck and God Bless 🙏 ! After all the problems my Brother and I experience with this Store in the past, it really is a True Blessing to finally see a real Professional Manger to be assigned to this store that knows how to Treat their customers. The store manager Miss Amanda is a Blessing sent from Heaven. She is going to be what this store has been needing for a long time,a True Blessing ! She will make this store the Best Rent-A-Center in Louisville, she will make everyone feel Welcomed and like Family. I strongly advise everyone to go to this store and take the time to meet Miss Amanda. Ms jay is amazing she explains everything in detail she helped me fast and easy and walk me through the whole process I felt good about making a purchase today and i recommend rent a center for furniture and all other household needs great prices and reasonable great job on your customer service
Very unprofessional didn’t want to help me find a couch that could fit in my house after I put a down payment on a couch no one asked dimensions of my door for the couch to fit. They didn’t seem to care even after receiving money from me to help find another one
