Worst experience ever! The day they bring the furniture they tell us we don't owe a payment for almost 2 weeks but then begin repeatedly trying to charge my card the same day for differing amounts ranging from $80 to $100, until my bank finally locks my card and flags them as suspicious. The constant attempted charges continue daily until the payment is due which then leads to them sending out their delivery guy coming by unannounced to retrieve the furniture. It was then we purchased furniture elsewhere and then scheduled for the furniture to be picked up due to the endless harassment. They fail to show up at the scheduled time at 11am, and instead send 1 guy to retrieve the furniture after 5pm! Not to mention this same gentleman was by himself for the initial delivery, and had I not helped him the delivery wouldn't have been possible! So they fail to communicate with us a new SCHEDULED pickup time and instead show up randomly on different days. My wife attempted to contact them one last time yesterday (6/18/2026) and failed to receive a response. They instead choose to show up announced again today (6/19/26) and when we explain to the manager they need to schedule a time and can't just show up whenever they want, she becomes belligerent and begins cursing along with making threats. Best advice check the better business bureau regarding these rental stores, rent a center by far has the worst reviews and now we see why. Bunch of crooks running this operation, and there are plenty of other options like Aaron's that will treat you with respect, charge your card when they are supposed to, and not harass you until you are actually late making a payment. Can't believe there's even one single five star review, most likely their only good reviews are fictitious through family and friends and aren't actually customers. You've been warned, STAY AWAY!!!!!
I want to start off by saying Daniel at this location is amazing and great to work with! This location really needs to train a few employees on customer care! Jasmine and Angie really need to learn customer service. I was only with rent a center for a month and had nothing but back to back issues. The one employee Jasmine called my phone looking for my mom who had nothing to do with my account and when I asked her why she was calling she hung up. The second time I spoke with her she became rude on the phone and made some threats. I told her over the phone and text message I would speak with anyone else but her and not to call my phone again. She didn’t listen and kept calling and texting. The store didn’t care when I reported it. Now the biggest issue of all is Angie. She is nothing but rude and bad customer service. She will go and talk to other people about your account and she loves to laugh and giggle on the phone and make a seen in front of people while talking to customers. She is a scammer and will tell you one thing and say something different and change amounts owed and lie to you. I asked Angie to send me a copy of my contracts to show what I would be paying every two weeks and she said she was sending it and never got it. I also let Angie know when they were making the delivery they damaged my new apartment flooring and all she did was laugh so now I’m going to let my apartment manager deal with them. She will lie and lie until she is blue in the face! I made the best decision to stop working with rent a center! They are over priced and will just play games and allow their employees to treat customers like crap and don’t care if they makes threats towards them. I found a company that is a lot better and treats people with respect and the payments are way better. Stay far from this store if you don’t want problems and drama especially from Jasmine and Angie. I have also made reports to the BBB and corporate.
I had a great experience with Rent-A-Center! The staff was super friendly, helpful, and made the whole process easy and stress-free. They explained all my options clearly and helped me find exactly what I needed without any pressure. The delivery was quick, and everything arrived in perfect condition. I really appreciate their customer service and flexibility—definitely recommend to anyone looking for affordable payment options and quality products!
Everything was great honestly up until they wanted to break my screen door and proceed to tell my wife there isn’t anything they can do about it. Like what. I just had bought that damn screen door four months ago and it gets broken by some inconsiderate employee wants to not pay attention but aye it’s ok. They must not care to much
Daniel was very friendly and attentive. He gave us a good deal! Delivery was fast and professional. I am very satisfied and will be returning again!
They offer excellent customer service Jessica and Daniel are awesome! They were able to help me furnish my apartment and I was able to get the items super quickly and for a reasonable price. I appreciate everything they have done for me
