If I could give zero stars I would. I HOPE corporate sees this complaint or the boss of Nacy sees this. SUPERRRRR UNPROFESSIONAL over the phone, first started speaking with Jazmine assuming she’s new or being trained and once I tell her I’m not able to give information she’s looking for nacy steps in I have it all on recording as well bc all calls are recorded for training purposes. (Keep that in mind please next time when having a “legal professional business call” NACY!!!!) Very disrespectful rude and unprofessional. Laughing muting and almost cussing over the phone I hope you don’t talk to your customer this way but probably not only the professional businesses you guys work with even though you were not professional by any means.

I had a really good experience at this Rent-A-Center. The team there was friendly and easy to talk to, and they made the whole process simple from start to finish. They answered all my questions without rushing me and helped me find exactly what I was looking for. The store itself was neat, and everything was laid out in a way that made it easy to browse. You can tell the place is run well—everyone seemed on top of things and genuinely cared about making sure customers were happy. Definitely worth checking out if you're looking for flexible payment options and solid customer service.

Nacy over at the 27th and Peoria location just cost Rent a Center a $2600 total cash price purchase because she couldnt call 4 references, verify residency eventhough we own our home (apparently a utilitiy bill dosent confirm residency), and verify employment today... the application was already completed and the first week had been done last night. All she had to do was call my employer and my references (whom were all ready and waiting for her call) and she couldnt get it done intime for it to be delivered today...so i said ok ill pick it up and she said "i will not have it done today so no you cant pick it up today." I hope she wasnt a manager.... ill just be taking my business elsewhere....

Here is a copy of the cease and desist I served against this company On 9/6/2025 around 130-200pm, a Rent-A-Center employee approached my apartment and began aggressively banging on my front door. The knocking was so hard, loud and continuous that it shook the walls in the house and my children and I got very scared and ran to their bedroom and shut the door. I left the kids in the bedroom and went to my bedroom where the employee proceeded to bang hard and loudly on my bedroom window, causing my window AC unit hose to disconnect from its mount. He then went back to the door. The aggressively loud banging/knocking continued for at LEAST 30 minutes. My boyfriend was present during this incident and was standing by the front door the whole time. Him and I witnessed the employee turning and shaking my door knob back and forth, as if he was attempting to intimidate us and enter the apartment. He did that for 1-2 minutes. We also witnessed him take photos of my bedroom window while talking to someone on the phone saying he "knows we're in here". My children and I were so scared of what was going on and I had so much anxiety that I physically got sick. My children were crying hysterically in their bedrooms because they were so scared and thought "someone was trying to break into our house". After 30-35 minutes of this, the employee finally gave up and left the premises. I still have so much anxiety and do not feel comfortable in my own home. Prior to this, Rent-A-Center comes to my home weekly and bangs on my front door for 10 minutes at a time and does not leave in an appropriate amount of time. I have filed a case with the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau and the Federal Trade Commission, as well as the BBB, next will be local law enforcement. I demanded that they cease and desist from this activity as soon as possible and, in any event, within 2 days from the receipt of this letter. If they do not take action to cease and desist within the given time frame, I will have no choice but to take appropriate legal action against them. Keep in mind this is the behavior they exhibit for only being $192 behind AND informed of reason why. These RAC locations locally are independently owned and Operated by Purple Cactus, LLC and are about to be facing a lot of legal troubles.

friendly and professional service, the 2 ladies my fiance and I worked with where very thorough in making sure we understood everything, answered all of our questions, and had made the overall experience actually very enjoyable. ( I know, weird... right?? ) To the staff over at rent a center on Peoria, thank you. Y'all where great. We'll be coming back for that camo stand-up!!
