Carolina Rent To Own

I recently had a disappointing experience with Carolina Rental when I went back in October to purchase a bedroom set, specifically just a bed frame and mattress. I financed the purchase under the impression that if I made my 11th payment, there would be no interest charged. Unfortunately, I encountered several issues. First, the wrong bed was delivered—both the color and design were not what I had ordered. I received a dark gray bed frame instead of the beige that I requested. When I contacted customer service to resolve this, I spoke with a manager who argued that the bed I received was a cheaper version of what I had ordered, despite it being the same model in a different color. The manager's demeanor during our conversation was unprofessional; instead of addressing my concerns, he accused me of not listening properly, and he knew without a doubt that I have no man because I do not know how to listen, which I found quite frustrating. I was also led to believe that I would receive a discount on my final payment due to the errors in my order. However, when I called to make that payment, I was informed by a representative that there was no basis for a discount, contradicting what I had previously been told in-store. Overall, my experience with Carolina Rental was far from satisfactory. The lack of clear communication and professionalism from the staff is concerning. I would caution potential customers to think carefully before using their services, as customer service appears to be lacking significantly. The picture attached was the bed that was delivered that i immediately contacted the store to let them know the wrong color was delivered. I was told a new order was placed and I should have the new bed delivered within a week. The other set of pictures are when the manager was texting me arguing that the bed I ordered was of less quality and if I wanted the bed I went into the store to purchase it would cost me an additional $150. The bed is the same bed just a different color.

Horrible quality, overpriced and horrible customer service. Would not recommend. I havnt even had my table anf chairs and are already lose and unstable. Paid over $800 for it. Do yourself a favor and go to Ashley’s or anywhere else.

TERRIBLE customer service. I applied in person with all my personal information, never received a call. I call them to check and they said my allocation wasn’t found! Didn’t even bother apologizing. Very nonchalant. it’s very dangerous having people personal information missing!!

The worst customer service I have ever seen the store should be shut down everybody fired terrible

I rent my bedroom furniture from this location and EVERY month I call to make my payments I have issues with the staff the customer service is VERY bad they are rude and disrespectful as hell I wouldn't recommend anyone rent from them for the expensive payments I make every month I should at least receive so good customer service
