Actually everything went as good as it could have possibly went, from the moment I contacted my designated store to when they delivered my laptop. I was shocked and pleasantly surprised at how smooth it all was and the manager was extremely nice and very easy to talk to. She is definitely a people person bc I let her know that I really needed it faster than what I was advised by a representative that I believe was in a different state but she was like how’s today sound and they had it delivered within 2 hours of me signing and completing the paperwork. She even had to send her employee to go pick it up from a different store and then bring to me. She never acted put out or annoyed and just did it with an obvious smile which I appreciated very much and something most companies lack these days unfortunately! 5 plus stars for sure for Rent a Center! Thanks so much guys!

Went to a store today cause I did an online preapproval and it says I was approved for 2000 merchandise in store so I go up to the southwest or south E. 29th St., Oklahoma City, OK. The ladies act like they didn’t want to do anything for me try to help me out did not like my experience there so Steer clear.

Roommate and I came in to look at couches and found one that we loved— we noticed that a cushion for it appeared to be missing and were assured that they had the cushion “somewhere in the back”. We went ahead and began the lease process and had to ask for ourselves when it would be delivered as all we were told is that “it wouldn’t be today”. We were informed they would deliver between 10am and 12pm on Friday, March 1. We later received an email stating that the window would be between 10am and 1pm, which was fine. When 12:45pm rolled around, my roommate called to check on it and was told that the new window was 1pm to 5pm. Annoying, but we’d already put off what we were trying to get done that day, so what was a couple more hours. When 4:45pm rolled around, still no couch and no contact so WE called AGAIN. Were told that they had been looking for the cushion all day and had never even loaded our couch on the truck. There was absolutely no communication about anything throughout the day. No mention of them not being able to find the cushion when we called at almost 1pm. No offer for us to choose something else. No anything. If we hadn’t have been proactive about calling, I doubt we would have heard anything at all from them. By this point, we had both wasted our entire day for our couch to be delivered and it wasn’t until our frustration was made evident that they wanted to do something to assist us. We opted to just cancel our lease and go elsewhere. Within 15 minutes of ending that phone call, we received an email confirming our cancellation which I find absolutely hilarious because they were super quick to cancel and likely would have been super quick to come pick up our couch had we ever received it and been late on a payment, but god forbid they be quick or proactive in communicating that they couldn’t find a part of our couch that we were assured they had. All they had to do was communicate with us about the situation and it would have been fine. Or idk maybe not assure us that they had the cushion “somewhere in the back” to secure a sale. Absolutely will not return to the 29th and Walker location and honestly are hesitant to deal with any other location and would rather continue to do without a couch until we can purchase one in full than risk being given the run around again.

Came in to buy or lease a couch and they were not welcoming, didn’t seem to care either way whether we spent money there or not and absolutely had no customer service skills and little knowledge of their products.. You expect to be treated well when considering spending money. Went to Aaron’s instead in Edmond and they were very friendly, store was very organized and it smelled good.
