Very disappointing experience at this Rent-A-Center location. I went in with an appointment to discuss approval options. Instead of receiving professional help, I was treated disrespectfully and spoken to in a rude and insulting manner. No attempt was made to explain options or assist me as a customer. I understand approvals can vary, but there is no excuse
Management here is very very rude. No respect people cannot re-computers and they would not take care of you. The service is terrible. I’ve been with this store for 7+ years and the way they treated me today is uncalled for and they really do not care about their customers that they they are under new management and they are terrible. Well I'm very upset I called and told the manager that I no longer wanted the washer and dryer that I rented because I was moving back home so they set an apt. up to come and get it so I made it clear to stop the payment on auto pay and they told me don't worry it's all taken care of the payment will not be taken out so I get up this morning and there it is 115.29 auto payment taken out of my acct. So if that's not theft I don't know what else to call it there will be a report because I'm going to call the police and see what can be done about it.
I am extremely disappointed with the lack of accountability from management and the appalling customer service I received at Rent a Center. Not only did I encounter poor service from the customer support team, but when I escalated the issue to management, I was met with complete disregard. The manager I spoke with refused to take any responsibility for the problem and instead blamed it on everyone else. I was left without a solution or any sense that my concerns mattered "As a paying customer, I expect a basic level of respect and accountability. Instead, I was made to feel like I was an inconvenience, and my time and concerns were completely dismissed. This type of service is unacceptable, and it’s clear that customer satisfaction isn’t a priority for this company. What’s worse is the management's utter failure to step up and resolve the issue. Rather than taking ownership and ensuring I was taken care of, the manager shifted the blame and failed to offer any real solutions. This is the kind of behavior that reflects poorly on any business and makes it clear that they don’t value their customers. If Rent A Center wants to retain customers, they need to overhaul their approach to both customer service and management accountability. It’s clear that the current system is broken, and until they make serious changes, I won’t be returning as a customer, and I’ll be advising others to stay away as well. I hope this review serves as a wake-up call, but based on my experience, I wouldn't hold my breath for any improvement. I will not be giving my business to a company that refuses to take responsibility or value its customers.
Items are individual contracts, as all were gotten at different times. They refused to let me pay off one contract without payment on the other 2. They also had quite the attitude. I will NOT be doing business with them again.
Byron is an AMAZING sales agent! He not only made sure from start to finish that I was satisfied with my purchase but went above and beyond to ensure I was fully aware of the process and in need of anything further. He exemplifies customer service. A true light
