I give 1 star not because of the quality of the products sold, but rather the quantity of calls made if your payment doesn’t process, and even after it does the endless amount of calls, followed by email, & text messages. It was so much that my boss had made a comment about how much my phone was going off. Then when addressing the manager John, rather than apologizing, he then wants to say I can just bring back the product if I’m not happy with it… I’m not happy with being harassed, especially after payment is made. I’m sure his employees would not be able to have this type of stuff happening, and I know most employers would also frown upon an employees phone going off NUMEROUS times. Calling once and sending a text or email would suffice. This also happened 2 years ago when I went and bought the product else where returning the ones I had rented. I didn’t even have their product but was still harassed until calling higher ups. There is absolutely ZERO excuse to harass anyone, to the extent they do. It’s like they’re a collections company, but even then the collection companies aren’t even this brutal. Stop blowing up people phones while they are at work, after they paid, and don’t give excuses or use passive aggressive behavior/comments, absolutely poor customer service, and professionalism.

I am attempting to give RAC another chance, however I paid for the product and was not provided any agreement number to proceed to the shipping information. There’s no one to talk to, and address this concern, or at least no one answers. No further emails or texts provided other than I will get promotional messages (I said no to!). Cannot sign into the account because I do not have the agreement number. This product is for my son’s Christmas gift and I’m just wanting to get tracking information and confirmation outside of “thank you for your payment” with everything but what THEY REQUIRE TO PROCEED!

Great people service atmosphere Washer/dryer

All the staff is super friendly and nice. I have had a few purchases from them and everything went smooth. No issues

I rented a refrigerator from rent a center about 6 years ago and it went smoothly and I still have the refrigerator and it is in great working order. I would recommend using them to anyone in a hard spot. The staff was amazing and there were a couple hiccups with the payments but everything ended up being great

I went into the store because I was couch shopping and no other stores in the area had anything in stock, so I went into RAC and found a set that I liked. After talking with the managers, the final price that was agreed to was right over $600. Fast forward a few months, and I’ve paid $634.50 with them still requesting over $200+ from me. I spoke with Evelyn from the store and she stated that it was written on the contract that there would be additional interest on the furniture that was never disclosed to me. If I could give this business ZERO stars, I would. You’re better off shopping with a business that isn’t fighting just to stay afloat. I doubt they’ll still be in business in a year from now. Terrible customer service & they will lie to you.
