Extremely disappointed with my overall experience. I was initially misinformed about a critical detail regarding a piece of furniture I purchased. After my first payment was already taken, I later learned through another associate that the entertainment center did not include the fireplace, contrary to what I was told at purchase. I informed the store that I would come in person the following morning to resolve the issue, yet I was repeatedly pressured to sign a DocuSign before arriving, despite clearly stating I would not sign anything until speaking with staff or management in person. That felt inappropriate and unprofessional. When I arrived at the store, the associates did make an adjustment by charging me an additional fifty dollars for the fireplace instead of full price, which I appreciated. Unfortunately, that was the only positive part of this experience. The night before delivery, I was informed that my furniture could not be delivered because they were unable to reach my landlord, something I was never told was part of the process. This last minute requirement was frustrating and completely unexpected. When I expressed my concerns, the manager, Lena, was unprofessional, accusatory, and emotionally reactive. Rather than attempting to resolve the issue, she immediately brought up canceling my order. I was later hung up on while calmly requesting confirmation that my order had been canceled and that a refund was issued. After calling multiple times, I was told I would need to come into the store for refund confirmation, as they do not provide email or text confirmation, which felt concerning. Overall, this was a disorganized, misleading, and unprofessional experience from start to finish. I will not do business with this store again and would not recommend it. I will be taking my business to Ashley HomeStore instead.

I shopped online for a couch. Got approved and took advantage of the 1st month for a penny deal. I got an email shortly after saying I needed to go into store to complete my purchase. I went to the store the next day. I was immediately disappointed to find out the couch I ordered was not in stock. The sales person , Vanessa was fantastic and was able to help me with a 2nd decision. I supplied Vanessa with all the information she requested and then signed a contract and made a payment to have my furniture delivered on 10/6/2025. On 10/1/2025 I received a text message while I was at work from Vanessa that she needs copy’s of my pay stubs. Within 20 mins of that text I received a phone call from a number unrecognizable to me so I didn’t answer. 1 min later the same number called again. I answered now thinking it might be urgent. On the other end I hear a males voice which certainly wasn’t Vanessa just explaining to me how they (person on the phone) used to work at my employer and in order to complete verification and get approved I need to get a letter to verify my employment. I have no idea who the person is because they failed to identify themselves. I also have no idea what this person is even talking about. I asked the person who they were and what they were talking about and he again without identifying himself tells me he needs to get my application approved. Now it clicks and I ask him (mildly elevated tone) why the store would accept payment from me without getting fully approved. I also made it known that I was less than appreciative that 2 different people were reaching out to me requesting documents that contain my personal information all in an hour time. The person who I now know is manager named Juan. I explained in a very clear direct tone that this was being conducted inappropriately with several discrepancies because you’re handling people’s personal information in which Juan then placed me on hold and refunded my payment without any sort of explanation. He then said have a nice day and hung up on me. Never one time did I raise my voice, curse, demean or any sort of disrespect to be deserving of the disregard that I was treated with. The way they conducted the business while dealing with people’s personal information is highly unprofessional. He refused to give me his managers name. Told me to call the 1800 number and hung up on me a 2nd time. This is by far the worse customer service I have ever received in my 38 years on planet earth. This came after moving from 3000 miles away and needing furniture that I already waited a week for already. He then denied my application. The one thing people hate is when you can appropriately explain their wrong doings without reciprocating their ghetto unprofessional behavior.

I went in to this store looking for a vacuum and they miraculously had one for a reasonable price. They got me approved and out the door in like 20 minutes. Huge shout out to Tanisha, Vanessa, and Juan for all their help and friendly customer service. 10/10 I'm going back when I need a new washer and dryer too.
