My recent experience with this location was extremely disappointing and fell well below expected professional standards. I was two days late on a payment due to an oversight. During that time, staff came to my residence and repeatedly banged on my door while I was not home. I later received a noise complaint related to this incident, which was both unexpected and concerning. When I contacted the store to address the situation, I spoke with Jeremy, who communicated in an unprofessional and dismissive manner. He made several unnecessary and disrespectful comments, including generalizations about customers being “always late,” which he used to justify the behavior at my home. I requested to speak with a manager and was initially told none was available. After being placed on hold, I was connected with Rob, the manager, who supported Jeremy’s conduct. During the conversation, Rob later acknowledged that he had been present the entire time Jeremy was speaking with me. This raises concerns about transparency and leadership, as I was initially told a manager was unavailable. This experience reflects a serious lack of professionalism, accountability, and customer respect. I strongly recommend that corporate leadership review the conduct of this location, as it appears to be a staff and management issue rather than a reflection of the company as a whole. Based on this experience, I would not recommend this location and will not be returning.
I had a very bad experience with the Rent-A-Center location I ordered from. My wife called today to get things settled on a couch I ordered online, and Robert was extremely rude to her. She called from her sister’s phone, and just because her sister owes on an account, Robert became very disrespectful. We are new to the area. I have check stubs from my previous job and an offer letter for my new employment. Another Rent-A-Center store told me that would be fine, but since I placed the order at this location, I had to go through them. When I explained that to Robert, he said, “Well, I’m not doing that,” in a very rude tone. The customer service was unprofessional and unacceptable. I will never give Rent-A-Center my business again. If I could give zero stars, I would.
I was doing schoolwork when my laptop stopped working. I needed a quick replacement but didn’t have the money to pay full price for a new laptop. I turned to Rent-a-Center and placed my order, signed all appropriate paperwork (contract) online, and headed over to pick up my gateway to school. Upon arrival, I was greeted by an employee and he proceeded to pull up my info. After standing around for 15 minutes the employee stated my card on file had been “dropped” and needed another. After coming back with another card the same employee informed me “it’s going to be like… another hundred dollars.” Yeah, forget the contract I signed. My friend was upset so she went in and found out employees just add on money if they feel a potential for theft. So yeah, I was profiled and made to pay more for how I looked. I’m a 100% disabled combat veteran who literally just moved across the United States to come back home. I took my business to Aaron’s. ~Good Day

BEWARE !! Don’t waste your time here unless you have patience of a saint . Dude on the phone couldn’t wait to hang up on me but it’s all good because not all places deserves your business !! After reading the reviews I dodged a bullet with this location
Robert and Andrew were AMAZING! And the driver that helped Andrew with customers while he assisted me do paperwork was also amazing! I love rentacenter! I have never had a bad experience with them. Thank you guys!
