As a first-time customer, I had a very disappointing experience with Aaron’s. My home AC went out during a Houston summer, so I needed a portable unit quickly while waiting for repairs. A salesman I spoke with offered a promotional first month for $0.01, which I appreciated given the circumstances. Fortunately, my home AC was repaired within two weeks, and I promptly returned the portable unit. When I arrived to return it, I stood at the counter for several minutes while the associate continued a personal phone call before acknowledging me. Once helped, I was told I owed $89. When I asked for clarification—since I was within 30 days—I was told it was because I “hadn’t paid for the first month.” The interaction quickly became unpleasant, with the associate making dismissive and accusatory remarks about me “renting for free.” After several minutes, she consulted a manager, who confirmed I did not owe the $89. Despite this, the associate continued making inappropriate comments, including suggesting I was “milking their business.” In addition to this, the process of obtaining the unit was already inconvenient. I was initially told the unit was in stock, only to find out it wasn’t. I was then directed to multiple locations and ultimately had to drive to Richmond to pick one up, as delivery was not offered. Overall, the lack of professionalism, poor communication, and unnecessary hostility made this a frustrating experience. I cannot recommend this location based on how this situation was handled.
I was only three days late on my payment and they sent someone to my door and then charged me $13. They’ve also come to my house stuck a note on my door and then when I take it off, it takes the paint off destroying property and then they can’t fix it. This is the worst customer service I’ve ever had.
Great service tiphannie and all her service members was so nice and helped me so much and was very very accommodating to my needs. I will be coming back for more
I cannot say enough good things about my experience at Aaron’s. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted warmly Mia Gastelum and immediately felt like a valued customer. The showroom was beautifully laid out, with every piece thoughtfully staged to inspire ideas for my own home. Mia was the absolute sweetest , most adoring, and most helpful associate ! She was So informative and considerate, i can tell she actually cared and valued me as a customer. Thank you Mia so much !!!!
True rating is ZERO STARS, I wish I could rate this place a zero, the customer service is horrible from the in store managers and clerks to the men that come to the deliveries and repairs. I purchased a whole living room set, 3 pieces of furniture, I was told that 2/3 of the pieces of furniture was rented out for a couple months and it was still in good condition. The 3rd piece of furniture I purchased brand new. As soon I got my furniture I was told by family members that they have gotten bitten, we assumed it was mosquitoes or something, now I recently slept on my sofa and I woke up with bites and I was told it was bed bugs bites. So now that I was aware it was bed begs I opened up the recliner to find out the recliner is inoperable & I seen 2 bed bugs in the crevasses of the sofa. After seeing the bug and confirming it was a bed bug, I reached out to aarons to see what can be done about the infested furniture they sold me. First guy told me he was going to call back, he called back to next business day and told me he will order a new part for the recliner not mentioning anything about the bed bugs. So I called again still being patient after getting bit up by bed bugs and I was put on hold for over 15 minutes and when he returned back to the phone the guy Carols acted like he was picking up the phone for a new customer, as if he hope I hung up after the long wait, I then explained to him again about the bed bugs. He asked to send a picture and he will call me back. I called in the morning and never received a call back nor an email. Im highly disappointed & honestly lost for words on what to do in this situation. If you plan on purchasing anything from them you will need treatment & I just got an estimate of $3,500 for a heat treatment to get rid of bed bugs everywhere cause I was told they do travel. So beware of the unprofessionalism, and bed bugs when dealing with specifically the Aarons in south post oak rd.
