Rent-A-Center

I am writing to let ev1 know not to go to this store if you need anything. I have NEVER been so DISRESPECTED in the 8 to 10 plus years. I have cancer so I called the manager Carla A. To get the email address to send my leave of absent note sent to her from my doctor well to say the least I was given the wrong address 3 times. The attitude that I received was so OMG I can't explain. But this person has NO and I mean NO business working as a manager for this company. She is rude and attitude and thinks you owe her something. I am here to say I am not suppose to be really driving right now but seeing how she or her people don't know there email address for me to send the information I had to drive 30 minutes to give this rude person my information. Now today I get an email again rude about how I need to call them for them to come get my stuff. Mind you I have never been late and been with them for 10 plus yrs. When I texted her back I told her I want her managers number and name and she came back again nasty talking about I am the manager. Well if this is how this company wants there stores ran buy someone so rude and an attitude towards there customers well I can promise when I am done paying my items off I will let ev1 know not to go to this store where Carla A is at. Oh and I did call district as well and waiting on a call back. Now if I could I would give her a 0 but seeing how i have to give her a number it is a 1. Also I see I am not the only one that has had issues with her as well so if that tells you anything they don't care how there store is ran cause she is still there.

At first I loved the store because the entire team was so friendly and made my experience wonderful. Everyone was kind and actually cared however when the manager John left things quickly went downhill. Don’t ever fall on hard times when buying from this store because the new manager Carla is so insensitive and rude. I experienced a death in the family and sickness back to back but not even a condolences or a “sorry to hear that” from Carla she was just worried about the payment that was only 4 days late. Very poor customer service if you ask me. I would never treat my customers that way! I really hate that John left he was always so nice! The only reason why I gave this place 2 stars was because of him and kwazeem. If John was still there it would be 5 stars for sure! I’m honestly thinking about returning my products and shopping at another rent a center just to not deal with her. I like the concept and ease of rent a center but apparently they’re individually owned and I’d rather take my chances with someone else. It’s giving bully tactics and I don’t like that. Update: still the worst experience I’ve ever had… Carla is still as nasty and rude as ever and I’ve noticed that the reviews continue to get worse since she’s been there. Maybe the company will take notice of this and get rid of her and find someone else. Or maybe she’s just really good at bullying people out of their money and they look at the funds instead of properly serving the people. Also for the price they charge you can go literally anywhere else and get the same products for cheaper even with interest. I needed something quick and I paid the price for it. Never again will I shop at rent a center.

Worst experience ever- ordered a couch early December, got a call later that day trying to get upsold onto another couch that “they had already in store so we wouldn’t have to order in another one” but we denied and said we would like to stick with our original choice. The couch was set to be delivered two weeks time, well we got the run-around all month long- saying their systems were down and even though the couch was now at their store they couldn’t have it delivered to us until IT was able to fix their system. We would call and call trying to get updates and the sales manager never seemed to be available. But I’m sure if it was a bill being due they would not be as unavailable. Ending up canceling our order because I can’t imagine getting in deeper with a store that never seems to have answers to your questions.

I’ve posted like 2 times already, this is the best furniture company I’ve ever dealt with. Specifically this location. John is a great leader; always helpful and empathetic to me, and Zack is the other manager who’s always very kind and helpful when I speak to him as well. I’m gonna spell it wrong but Kwazeim is the most professional and kindhearted person I’ve spoken to. This entire team here is so kind and I highly recommend them to everyone !
