I had a very frustrating experience at Rent-A-Center. I provided all the required documentation paystubs, bills, my address, and social security information but my application was rejected because my phone number didn’t match the local area code. Despite explaining that I recently had to get a new phone, the employee Aaron assumed the number belonged to my roommate and denied my purchase. I had already completed the full process and even paid, but this arbitrary assumption overruled legitimate documentation. Customer service felt inflexible, and it seemed like assumptions were valued more than facts. I expected a more professional and reasonable verification process.

The manager Aaron is so rude and not understanding whatsoever very unprofessional in my opinion and if you’re a day late they blow your phone up the entire day knowing that people are at work

They are friendly when everything is going right but the minute you tell them to return something cause finances are working in your favor they turn to be rude. When a phone doesn’t work to call texting is what I had to do and then it took like 10 time last or more to get through do to my phone acting up so instead of understanding they become rude to the point I will never go back. Have bought so much with them in the past and everything has been fine but this hasn’t been. I have struggled and cant answer the phone due to the job I have and it’s a continuous call I have tried to explain my situations and have struggled through this whole term of renting from them I know that is my fault but the rudeness of them and even trying to set up something for my washer and dryer to be looked at the manager was so rude i didn’t call them back bam done dealing with them. Just a suggestion make sure you don’t ignore there phone calls even when you can’t answer they harass you for a week payment. Even if I would tell them when I could pay they would still call before that day. So dont rent if you struggle sometimes. It’s not worth the headache

If you're a new customer they require every bit of info humanly possible about you. I called before visiting and wasn't told to bring anything outside of paystubs. They wanted my social, my address,my job my bosses info, his address my blood type, how many pets I have l, mother's maiden name. Some of these are embellished but not too much

This store is very clean and the whole set up is amazing. Management was on point and very knowledgeable and helpful. Very professional and it shows. Great job!
