What you can rent here

Rent-A-Center is a national rent-to-own chain with 1,948 stores across all 50 states, reaching communities from Lawrence, Massachusetts and Kissimmee, Florida to Harlingen, Texas and Booneville, Mississippi. Launched in 1973 in Wichita, Kansas, it was the first national chain to scale the rent-to-own model, building standardized showrooms stocked with new, name-brand merchandise. Stores carry furniture, appliances, electronics, computers, mattresses, gaming, and smartphones on flexible weekly or monthly lease agreements, and like most rent-to-own stores they typically do not require a traditional credit check. Rent-A-Center holds a 4-star Google rating across more than 152,000 reviews. Compare Rent-A-Center on VRTO alongside other rent-to-own stores near you, with hours, ratings, and what each carries.

I wouldn't recommend any kind of business with rent a center. I purchased a sectional from them in April was expecting great customer service from the store staff & i did as long as vendell was the manager. But ive experienced horrible customer care not only from the store with Joan the new manager but from the Corporate office as well.

Valdosta or whatever his name is ,will be the reason this location goes bankrupt. This guy had the nerve to cancel my order because I called another location trying to make sure what he was enforcing was company policy. Never notified me about it either. I called the store to confront the situation, he goes on and lies and say I cussed the manager from the other store out. I called the manager from the other store and she confirmed this weirdo was lying. Also called customer support to report him , he tells customer support I was trying to finagle two tvs from 2 locations. Sir what is the need to lie constantly ? Why can’t you just do the business your employer employed you to do. Terrible terrible terrible. What kind of excuse of a man you have to be to play telephone games and make up lies like a school girl. Must not get any respect from home. I will gladly take my consistent business to another location. Valbibi , I hope you finally get fired. You are no fit to run a store. You are a shelf stocker at best.

I've always had a good experience at this location. I've been a customer since they opened this location. Staff and manager are helpful and friendly. The process is quick and easy. Being able to make payments online is very convenient, and you have the choice of weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly. You can apply and start your agreement online as well. The variety of merchandise in stock is always good online and in store, options of new and used, everything is clean and in excellent shape. Delivery of product is always fast and professional, and they set everything up for you. I love the longer same as cash option, which allows me to pay things off versus a long, drawn-out rental agreement. Location is convenient if you need to go into the store. I recommend this location. My advice using rent a center versus bashing the staff is this... Expect to get called, etc, if you're late on payment, so don't be late on payment. If you come to a point where you can't afford payments anymore, just call them to come pick up the merchandise and be done with it versus dragging them or you through harassment, court etc, it's not worth it. If you can pay off in the same as cash window, I recommend it. It saves from paying on something forever and paying more in the long run 👌

Fast and easy process main issue is i just got my furniture on the 1st and already have to make a month payment of almost 500 for something i only had for 2 weeks. Had my husband call to see if we can move the date and he laughed and said not possible. Just find it kind of stupid that i have to make a month payment on something i only had for a brief time. Other than that they get you in and out of there pretty fast.

My mother has been a customer for this company for over 2 decades. The store manager Vidale refused her service and stated " you need to do your business elsewhere". All because they didn't put her bed together all the way and gave her broken drawers for my daughters' trundle bed. I do not recommend this company to anyone who wants quality service and common decency.
