I am giving this review regarding my experience while trying to purchase a furniture set from Aaron's. From day one, the young lady I’ve been dealing with has been rude and has continuously tried to rush me through the buying process. Today, she called to tell me about a deal, and when I asked her to send me pictures of what was available, I could hear her huffing on the phone. Pictures was sent however Whenever I tried to explain what I was actually looking for, she repeatedly talked over me. I even had to ask her to let me speak so I could express my preferences. In the middle of the call, I was suddenly placed on hold with music without any explanation, which felt very unprofessional. If I’m going to spend my money, I expect to be heard and respected. If a representative is not willing to listen to what I like, how can they properly assist me in choosing furniture? One thing about me—I will not be rushed or talked over when making a purchase. Customers come first, and your job is to listen, not be rude or dismissive. I hope this issue is addressed, as no customer should have to deal with this type of service. Thanks Ms.Marshall
Don’t come to this location, they will waste your time. On December 1, I came to this location to get see if I can get a washer and dryer in the store and get any suggestions on which one to get since this is my first time getting a washer and dryer. Two employees suggested for me to get the ge profile washer and dryer combo. One of them was asking me the necessary questions(diameter of my closet, is there elevators in my building etc.). Of course I gave them the diameters of the closet before paying, told them it’s no elevators and told them to let the delivery drivers know that they can park in the parking lot because if they park in the front it’s a big possibility that it won’t be a parking spot for them to unload it off the truck. Friday comes around and the drivers tells me that they can’t take it off the truck because it’s too heavy for two guys to do it since there is no elevators and they need 3 maybe 4 guys to bring it in. 10 minutes after they left I get a call from the other employee for them to reschedule Monday(December 8th). Of course Monday comes and I get a call at 10:52am to let me know they can’t deliver the washer dryer combo because of the diameters of the closet. Gave the everything they needed and completely wasted my time
Do not lease here the manager is a slime ball…I am a few days late every now and than but I always pay….if I am 3 days late they will show up at my house and leave hand written notes I have asked them repeatedly to stop and they have done this multiple times mind you I am not in default and I have not been repeatedly late..they will also call you back to back to back if you are a couple days behind….i have a history of paying but in all truth I think they would rather I just give the item back….i can’t tell. If this is happening to you, you can file a complaint though Illinois Attorney General and FTC.
My husband and I came in to look at couches. The kid, who was tasked by the elder salesman so he could go back to whatever he was doing on his phone, to help us had no answers to our questions and was all mumbles. I counted four stains on four different chairs and couches. Also, it’s stunk of bad cologne.
Do not rent any appliances from this location! They are unprofessional & will lie quicker than they can schedule an appointment they can’t keep! Rented a top load washer/dryer that was used & only had it for 2weeks which it didn’t spin & the dryer doesn’t get hot, contacted these liars to have it serviced which they lied & didn’t show up for the scheduled appointment & kept hanging up the phone every time I called to inquire about the arrival time! Don’t rent ANYTHING from this location! They are UNPROFESSIONAL & don’t have any CUSTOMER SERVICE SKILLS!!!!
Aarons in Chicago is probably one of the worst customer service experiences I have ever received. Their policies conflict with corporate, and their staff seem to enjoy being rude, discourteous, undermining, and unprofessional. I would not recommend purchasing products through this location . I’m reporting to the bbb because I’m becoming worried for my safety . This video shows the store gm and Oscar showing up to our apartment demanding payment for a sofa that literally no payment due it’s becoming ridiculous and headquarters seem to do nothing .
