Angel from here keeps blowing my phone up everyday because my phone number was listed as a reference for somebody trying to get ahold of them. I told him to stop bc it's not my account ands I'm trying to get some rest as I just got off work and he calls me 5 times back to back and laughs on the phone. Very unprofessional this loser needs to be fired.

(SORRY FOR THE LONG POST, BUT I HAVE TO SHARE THIS SO OTHERS AREN'T TAKEN ADVANTAGE OF.) Are minus stars an option? This all happened within the last 2 weeks. My wife and I moved from Michigan to Florida to help family with serious health issues. We sold almost everything we owned, loaded six U-Haul Pods, and just arrived. We needed a washer and dryer until we could afford to buy our own. We found this location looking for an LG washer and dryer but were told this is NOT a corporate store and they do NOT carry the LG models shown on the website. The only option was a Samsung set, which we agreed to rent. Before signing anything, we specifically asked: Us: "If we do NOT need them anymore, can we cancel at any time without penalties?" Them: "Absolutely, no problem. How long do you think you'll need them?" Us: "Probably 2 to 3 months, but who knows." Them: "OK, no problem." They arranged delivery within 30 minutes, which was impressive. I had already removed the doors to make installation easier. The delivery team finished setting up the washer and dryer, then informed us AFTER installation, "Oh yeah, by the way, we do NOT connect the dryer vent. We don't provide them and never hook them up." The manager never mentioned this in the store. It was clear this is their standard policy. We had to go buy our own vent just to use the dryer. After inspecting the machines (SEE PHOTOS), they were extremely dirty from previous renters. I understand these are USED appliances, but they price them like they're brand new. A comparable new set at Home Depot costs around $1,600. Through Rent-A-Center you'd end up paying around $4,000, and even their "cash price" for these USED machines was about $2,400. Two weeks later, an amazing family on Facebook sold us a washer and dryer at a very humbling price because the home they purchased already had a set. We immediately called Rent-A-Center to arrange pickup before the next monthly payment. The manager answered and said: "Oh yeah, I remember you. You can't return them. You said you wanted them for 2 to 3 months. If you would've told me that, I would've CHARGED YOU MORE MONEY for only using them for 2 weeks." That completely contradicted what we were told before signing. Instead of listening, he repeatedly interrupted us and talked over us. Yes, I got loud. Then he tried to turn it around by saying, "Why are you yelling, sir?" He refused to send a pickup crew, even though our next payment was due within 48 hours. Rather than be charged another month, we rented a truck, loaded the machines ourselves, wrapped them carefully, cleaned and vacuumed them so they were in better condition than when they were delivered, and returned them ourselves. When we arrived, my wife went inside and the front desk employee immediately said, "I'm so sorry, please don't be mad at me, but the manager is on break." He was sitting right there and simply refused to deal with us. He told us to drive around back and unload everything ourselves because his warehouse employee was "on break" and would NOT help. So I unloaded both machines by myself while they watched. We placed them by the back door and took pictures showing they were still wrapped in moving blankets. That is our full story. Rent-A-Center offers a service that can genuinely help families who need appliances quickly. Unfortunately, this location ruined that experience with misleading information, poor communication, terrible customer service, and refusing to honor what we were told before signing. After reading other reviews, it appears we are not the only customers who have experienced these issues. I WOULD RUN FROM THIS LOCATION. Maybe things are different at a corporate store. I honestly don't know, but this experience was unacceptable. Not the WELCOME TO FLORIDA we were expecting. Disappointed Locals.

Rent-A-Center provided a convenient and helpful shopping experience with flexible payment options and friendly customer service. The store had a welcoming atmosphere and a wide variety of furniture, electronics, appliances, and home products available to choose from. I especially appreciated the ability to find quality items without needing large upfront payments, which made the process much more manageable and convenient. The staff members were professional, patient, and very helpful when explaining the rental and purchase options available. Everything throughout the showroom appeared clean, organized, and well maintained. Delivery and setup were handled smoothly and efficiently, making the overall experience stress free. This is definitely a useful option for customers looking for flexible furniture and appliance solutions.

Went to this location at 4:30 today to purchase a sectional. I walked in and the employee was helping a couple with a washer purchase. No problem. I sat down. I was never acknowledged at all, even just to say they would be with me soon. I waited about 20 minutes. I could hear the employee speaking with the couple. I figured they were understaffed being New Year’s Eve. I got up to leave and heard the employee ask another employee for a phone number. So there was another employee there the entire time. This was my first experience with Rent A Center and unfortunately my last.

I'd like to strongly advise anyone who values themselves not to shop here. We've been dealing with the impossible in our family, had to travel out of Florida for extensive periods of time, and always pay based on our paycheck schedule with work. We don't have phone service at the moment, but they will call more than 7 times in a day (any number they had) if you're late, threatening tactics, coming to the house anywhere from 3-6 times a day. And what's better is at 8:20pm they banged on the door AND the windows while my house sitter and their child were trying to shower and get ready for sleep. They got it on recording and I will be taking next steps with legal teams.

Yall are worst than a collection agency. I’m card is ALWAYS locked so it doesn’t go through. Before I even get a chance to make the payment y'all literally call me right after without a moment to spare. Would never recommend and once my furniture is paid I’ll never rent from this company again.
