I went in there to rent a washer and dryer and to get my kids beds for our new home we had just moved into. I specifically stated that we had just purchased a home in a mobile home community. It was literally a few days after signing the lease for the lot. I had also told them when I arrived that my husband (who’s a manager for Amazon going on 9 years) is the breadwinner so they’d want to put him on the account primarily. I gave all his info and went on to picking out a set. First he told me I’d need to put a $150 deposit. I declined and he says, “Ok can you at least do $50?” I said yes and he took my payment. I left and was expecting to pick up the items myself the next day however he calls me the next morning and claims that he could not verify we live where I claimed we do. He was very rude when telling me that the mobile home community office said they’d never heard of us. Well no 💩, we literally just moved in. Then he proceeds to tell me that he couldn’t verify my husband’s employment. When I gave him all the info he requested he still wasn’t able to “verify” any of it. I offered to take his paystubs and our lot lease contract and still he was very off putting and rude. I simply said it was their loss and hung up. Next day I reached out to their neighbor, Aaron’s, and had absolutely NO issues getting a washer, dryer, 2 queen beds, 2 box springs, and 2 frames all for $80 weekly. Buddy’s was charging about $50ish just for the appliances. So thank you for that Buddy’s, I ended up saving money by going to your competition.
I had such a great experience! The workers were very understanding when I didn't want something they made arrangements to make it comfortable and affordable. A Big THANK YOU for making me feel at ease with my payment plan , and with my poor credit I was still able to get what I wanted at a reasonable price. BUDDYS IS THE PLACE TO GO!!!!! We got a great deal and fast delivery and are officially enjoying our new sectional! Thank you so much Claudia and your team for all your help! Super easy & straightforward process. The team in the San Marcos store is super helpful and accommodating. We’ve furnished 3 different rooms over the years with Buddy’s and now are back shopping with them again. We’ve had furniture for as long as five years and it’s stood the test of time. The quality is amazing!
We have been previous customers of Buddy's San Marcos location. Today we decided to purchase a bed since we bought one online from Nectar and it is the worst bed ever. Claudia greeted us the moment we entered the business. She came over and asked questions and got us started for a lease agreement right away. She is very informational, thorough in description of sale , and very friendly. We appreciate her kindness and professionalism. We will definitely be doing more business with Claudia as soon as we move in September.
