Please just go to a different location. The store manager Denise Downey demeanor and attitude is very rude. Does not greet or introduce herself but is very ready to put her inputs in from across the room, Does not make eye contact or look you in your face. Speaks out from whenever she is standing or sitting. She profiles me asking do I live in the hood, says “ people are known to run off and not pay.” For the couch I wanted.. Was very bossy to her coworker rushing her instead of helping her is what I saw .. However Ms Kim was very nice patient and helpful with my purchase. The two delivery men was also cool. And understanding. Maybe they need a new store manager to make It better.
Went in today to process a return for Amazon and was basically turned away. One of the ladies working was on a team meeting and told me to go to another location cuz they don’t work for Amazon and didn’t have to take my return. They didn’t have any customers in store and the other staff member was turning on TVs. I wouldn’t step in this store to purchase anything with bad attitudes.
If Amazon tells you to return stuff here , they aren't set up to do it
Ms. DENISE lacks a standard of customer service. I over heard her talking about another customer, while I was on the phone with one of their employees doing a pick up. Please take your money elsewhere.
Very rude and hostile keeps on pressing the issue of payment won't give me time to get the money together. Head lady of the store sent her employee and he was non professional very rude even made fun of me teasing me. Didn't even want to give them a 1 star but do not get anything from Rent A Center cause they will try to press charges after missing just one payment like with me. Mainly was Jeannie pressing the issue so much and not understanding being compassionate to me trying the best that I can to pay but when you keep on harassing me that's when it crosses the line. Update Jeannie just called my new number harassing me for money for the payment I said no because I'm financially struggling now without a job but she don't care cause after that all she said was okay and I hung up on her. That's very unprofessional considering she threatened to press charges on me even when I told them where their merchandise was and still wanted me to pay instead of them going to pick up the item before it was sold. So yeah not my fault.
I have been doing business with this Rent-A-Center for over 10 years rented items and paid them off. Jeanie the store manager is AWESOME and has truly been a gift from God for me! She has been compassionate and concerned and worked with me when I had a stroke and was hospitalized..she has gone above and beyond to work with me...The staff has always been professional and helpful..I started using this store when they were on Scott Street and I have no complaints...
