Update. Rent a Center is TRASH. I was late 1 day, someone came and plastered about 20 door hangers on my door!! I wasnt there, but i pulled in my driveway and saw that, i was pissed. That is not professional at all. TRASH. I would be late intentionally after that so someone would come to my door so i can shove those hangers in their face. NOT PROFESSIONAL. TRASH
I do want to express that Brenda the manager at this location made it happen. I’ve been fully helped throughout her service and her passion of caring for me getting my items delivered today People like her deserve a raise . I fell on my luck within the last 2 months after losing my job. I’m a single mom so times have been very tumultuous lately. Brenda and her team have helped countless times to recover my overdue balance. I cannot thank them enough. I don’t think they understand how their willingness to be understanding and helpful to me - especially during a time when I’ve needed it most has really impacted me. Thank you!!! I promise I got yall!!
I wish I would have read the reviews before using them. They sent a man to my apartment who immediately began knocking on my door. As a single female, I am logically not going to answer the door when an unknown man shows up unannounced. After about five minutes of him knocking and nothing else, I quickly opened the door and told him that I did not feel comfortable answering the door to a random man. Closed, locked the door, knocking continued. I went to my peephole to watch as he ducked down out of sight, and stayed there for a couple of minutes. Later when confronted he said he "dropped his papers". Then he began knocking again. I heard him start yelling, so I muted my tv and realized he was yelling my first and last name. Which immediately is a privacy violation and again is unsafe. As he's knocking and yelling he's also making attempts to enter passwords on my front doors electronic lock. Each time he presses the unlock button I hear a beep from inside confirming his attempts. I watch as he again tries to hide from my view and steps to the side of the door. Unaware of what my options are I finally open the door to confront him. Immediately with an attitude he tells me that I need to pay my account with RAC. I go to my email "payment confirmation" found. Instead of saying ok, or I apologize for making you feel unsafe, or simply have a good day. He thrusts his phone to me and suddenly I'm speaking to the manager who is also unapologetic for her employees unprofessional, unsafe, and aggressive behavior. I let her know exactly what his behavior was, she is talking over me, and he deny deny denies everything. I let them know that I understand the need to come out but they should be professional and announce who they are, what they are here for, and be calm. My apartment complex now knows not to allow them in without my confirmation. And if they do get in the police and on sight security will be called immediately.
