After completing the online information requested and signing the documents and did everything that was requested online it said to verify my online account which is did and rhen arrange my delivery or I could pick up in store. But then I get a text stating I need to give a copy of my dl a utility bill and a letter from my landlord. And two references. What is the point of giving all my information and advertising how easy it is to do business with rent a center when it’s far from it. Further more how can you ask me to sign a docusign document with my adresss clearly on it. And then asks for all the other information and tell me I’m not gonna get my purchase until i do. It now where online that I had to do all the extra. The video provide did not once state. That I was going to have to do that. It’s False advertisement and much more of a hassle then led to believe. So needless to say I never received the Mac laptop that I paid for and i didn’t receive the money back. Oh yea I they also lied about 2 for the first week as they tried to charge my card $42 just a few short hours after I sigend the documents. I should sue the store for false advertisement, and for trying to charge my card with my permission no auto pay was set up yet! There are consumer protection laws that were violated here and I will make sure the FTC and the CFPB knows about what kind of shit thats going on here!
Terrible. I lost my job within a few days of getting my furniture but immediately began a new one, so my 1st payment would be about 6 days late. the day before I could make payment I told Donna that it would be the next day online ,she said absolutely not, you've already had 2 weeks for your 1st payment, just let us know when to get our stuff... and I explained again about the job and payday , and she said sounds like you need
I've dealt with Rent-A-Center for almost 2 years and I've been very pleased with their service and their great customer service skills. They are very pleasant and they are attentive to you when you walk through the door. I brag on them all the time!
They have been great in my furniture rental and purchases for over 4yrs. Ashli has always been my go to at RAC. Friendly courteous understanding and patient she has always made my family feel like hers. Roland as well as helped through many pay offs and recommended what i can afford rather than just sweet talking me to just get something expensive. He's very professional and caring. All I can say is thank you guys.
I used the store in Clute for bedroom furniture. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable. I whole process was smooth and seamless. The delivery people were courteous and professional. I big thanks to Ashli for going out her way to help us.
