The Manger who helped me out was awesome! Very knowledgeable and went out of her way to call ALL the other stores to see if they had a specific Chofa that I was looking for. She made the application process smooth and quick! Highly recommend!
I've dealt with this store for some time now and have yet to be disappointed!..The atmosphere is very relaxed and they treat you like a friend...not to mention the manager ( Rebecca) is awesome and definitely cares!

Okay, first of all – we’ve never done a rent-to-own in our lives, but Buddy’s had what we wanted, so we thought, “Why not give it a shot?” (Spoiler alert: BIG mistake.) We paid the $100 to get started, feeling all official and ready to furnish like grown-ups. Then the girl working there says she needs references. Cool, no problem. I send them over. She keeps saying she “can’t reach them.” Okay… one of my references was my ex-stepdaughter, so I texted her to explain what a reference even is. And THIS is where Buddy’s went full soap opera. They text me – yes, TEXT – saying they didn’t feel “comfortable” sending the merchandise because I explained to someone what a reference was. EXCUSE ME?? I’m shady now because I’m helpful? Girl, be so serious. Then the employee says she’ll refund the $100, which we’re still waiting on (and watching our bank account like it’s a Netflix series). No manager ever called. No one followed up. Just a lone employee texting like it’s high school drama. We were belittled, judged, and basically told “no couch for you” for communicating clearly. Moral of the story? Don’t walk – SPRINT away from Buddy’s Furniture. Rent-to-own? More like rent-to-regret. 😤
