Southstate Bank needs to stay open longer. Some people don't get off of work until 6 or 7pm. This really inconvenient.

I don't think I've had more problems until I used this bank. Nobody answers the phone, and my account keeps getting fraud withdraws and or alerts like every few weeks. This is honestly getting ridiculous.

****update****Stopped using this bank, not a good bank. I was happy when I opened my account with Provident Community Bank and it was still good when Provident changed to Park Sterling, but South State was okay at first but then it has been down hill over these last few years.*********************** I use this bank regularly, but wish they would have kept their Main Street branch open so there would be more than the one location. It is so frustrating that the ATM is down more than it works. They tell you that if it's down and you have to use another banks ATM they will refund the fee, but you have to jump through hoops to make that happen, I mean they could at least put another ATM somewhere. It is extremely difficult to get in touch with the actual bank because if you call the supposed number for the branch it is the same as the customer service number.

Bank is ok usually but I wish they had notified me that I can no longer use the checks that have provident community bank on them. Now I have a returned check fee because they rejected it. Have always used them before. Been wanting to switch to founders but didn’t want the hassle. Now I think I will.

I do not like this bank they've had our account messed up since they opened! I would rather go to Spartanburg never had 1 problem now it's every week! Pray they get better at their job! God bless
