Even 1 star, is to many stars for this location. I just started a new lease for a new home theater system. It took 2 weeks for them to finally deliver it to my home, after I placed it as an order online. I'm not stupid, I've been through Aaron's multi times starting back in 2012. They said it takes almost a week to arrive to my local Aaron's store. It arrived within 3 days. The store employees called me, saying that they will be able to deliver it to my home another 10 days later so to back log on the trucking schedule. So I patiently waited. The day before I was scheduled for delivery I called for a confirmation to the delivery time and date. They told me that I had to make a first months payment, before receiving my item. But the online account, stated my first payment isn't due until the 1st of November. So I still had over a week. But the manager told me that was only to start the account with the $1 fee for the 1st month. That's not true, because I have photo screen shots that states I am not required to make any payments until the following month. So legally my first 30 days would only cost me a $1. But, they withheld my item for 2 weeks, close to the start of November any ways, knowing that it'll pretty much allow me my legal time frame for the first month is only $1! So they kept my item at the store, until I paid for the first full month. I decided not to bother playing their B's games, and made my first payment, 2wks after it had already been at the stores north Salem location. They held onto it like a hostage situation. And, they were late on delivery day. The guy showed up to my home, delivering it with his own personal vehicle. And then the signing of documentation was very weird. They had me sign the usual paperwork, but didn't give me a copy, and the delivery guy signed / wrote something on the paperwork after I'd already signed it. So he could of written randomly anything on it, and pretty much forged my signature with anything he wrote down. And on top of all that, he weirdly took my i.d., and photographed it, and said that the docu digital signature form wasn't working on his phone, so he didn't need my i.d. any ways. I feel like my i.d. information was just stolen. I do not feel comfortable with that location or items employees, as I've always had bad experiences with people like them, every time I go to that location. Even back 2012, the employees are terrible. They need to seriously flush that location, and hire all new people that actually take care of their customers. South Salem are way better!
What an awesome store! I am so happy they actually listen to me and set me up with an affordable washing machine. I am so happy because this is the way Aaron's is always treated me before the incident on commercial. This will be my store always if I ever need anything else. The manager is just awesome I'm glad I'm here.
