What you can rent here

Rent-A-Center is a national rent-to-own chain with 1,948 stores across all 50 states, reaching communities from Lawrence, Massachusetts and Kissimmee, Florida to Harlingen, Texas and Booneville, Mississippi. Launched in 1973 in Wichita, Kansas, it was the first national chain to scale the rent-to-own model, building standardized showrooms stocked with new, name-brand merchandise. Stores carry furniture, appliances, electronics, computers, mattresses, gaming, and smartphones on flexible weekly or monthly lease agreements, and like most rent-to-own stores they typically do not require a traditional credit check. Rent-A-Center holds a 4-star Google rating across more than 152,000 reviews. Compare Rent-A-Center on VRTO alongside other rent-to-own stores near you, with hours, ratings, and what each carries.

Austin and Dustin came in very polite and helped us fix our recliner the best they could. If I needed a service call again I’d want them to show up.

Anthony and his partner, did an amazing job delivering my furniture. They both were friendly and made sure everything was set up before leaving. And to mention they were in and out so quickly!

I had issues with my job with loss of hours and went into the store to tell them and try to resolve it. I talked to prudencia which she was busy playing with her friends infant when I went in. She said she would have the manager call me which I told her that I didn't have a phone because someone stole it out of my truck at work so if there wasn't a resolution to come get the stuff or they could have emailed me to contact me. I hadn't heard nothing through email nor did they attempt to come to my residence until 2 months later. Then the manager tells me he was out at my residence in his fancy brand new Mercedes which wasn't true and he was yelling at me and was unprofessional when all I asked was for them to let me take my accounts off the TV. They sold me a junk used washer to begin with. The first one didn't work at all it wouldn't even turn on. The one they replaced it with turned on but had issues with spinning and then eventually poured water out of it.

My mother has bought many items over the last 5 years and here recently she was buying a deep freezer at $220 and the Manager Rick has been extremely rude, and abrasive. He leased her a deep freezer that had a chewed cord and she said something about it, he promised to replace it at the same leasing price. He also messed up her lease contract, instead of the contract saying $50 a month like he told my mother, he wrote in $17 and change a week. When my mom came in to pay at the beginning of that month, she paid $100 and when she made the comment that she will only have to pay $120 more, he laughed at her and said "nothing in the store is that cheep." He found a replacement in Alliance, OH a week later and when my mother received it, that one had a chewed cord as well. The driver took a picture and sent it to Rick and even called and Rick immediately blamed my mom and the driver. So today when my mother called in, I being a witness, He basically told my mom she was being difficult and it was her fault it's taking so long to replace her deep freezer. My mom said that she didn't feel comfortable with paying off something she can't even plug in for fear of it sparking and catching fire. and when she comes in on the 2nd and pays another $100 she will only have $20 left to pay, and his words were "No, it will be $57 after that payment because of taxes and i need to make a profit too." Once my mother pays this off, we are taking our business elsewhere. 0/5 stars if i could.
