I had been a very pleased customer of buddy’s for many years. My last purchase from them May 2025 was a lawn mower brand new out the box. I brought it home added my oil and gas, cranked it up to give it a test run to see how it worked. After that I emptied out the gas and put it in the storage unit. Didn’t get to use it any the summer of 2025. I went out last week which was May 2026 to pull out the mower checked the oil and put new gas in it. The mower would not crank at all. I called the store and was told more about when it was purchased and was made to really feel like I had done something to the mower to cause the problem. I was told it could be picked up and taken to the shop that they get to fix mowers and if it was something on me then I would have to pay for it. They would be responsible if it was a malfunction with the mower. I was also told I could get someone to look at the mower. Mine you this is May 2026 and I have one more payment left. To me the way this situation was handled was definitely a problem, I wasn’t even offered a loaner. No one ever called me back and said anything, didn’t pick the mower up to see about getting it fixed. Saturday May 18, 2026 I made my last payment still nothing said about the mower. I got it looked at and it was no gas getting to the carburetor. I did call the store to let them know and I have to wait until Monday to see how this is going to be handled. So it’s Monday 4:33pm and so far I haven’t heard from anyone from Buddy’s about the mower. I called the store so I’ll see if I get a return call and how this is going to play out. I never got the call, I was totally ignored. They’re good as long as you’re making your payments. I will never go back to buddy’s for anything. They are forever on my 💩 list!!!
