We've been loyal customers of Aaron's for many years, especially as a foster family with 11 children. Over the past eight years, we’ve purchased thousands of dollars’ worth of items and consistently paid them off within 90 days. This helped us furnish our home when money was tight, which we truly appreciated. However, recently our experience has taken a disappointing turn. After a management change at our local store, the service has worsened significantly. During a recent visit, a salesperson abruptly refused to complete a deal just before closing time, making excuses that felt dismissive. On a follow-up call to inquire about a lawn mower, Tyler’s rude attitude was really upsetting. What’s more frustrating is their advertised “one cent to get started” offer, which turned out to be misleading—Tyler couldn’t even name a product available for that price. It feels like they’re taking advantage of customers like us, who rely on their services and pay the high rates they charge. It’s sad to see a place we once trusted treat regular customers poorly, especially families who don’t have many other options. While we have had good experiences in the past, the recent shift in attitude makes it hard to recommend Aaron’s anymore. If you’re looking for fair treatment and honest deals, it might be worth exploring other stores that truly value your business. This place is a joke..I am set up on auto pay and this week their systems have been down since Friday..My payments come out every Saturday.. This past Saturday Stacy called me and let me know their credit card system is down and they can’t process any payments, so she said we will try on Monday..So I talked yesterday to Aaron’s, and their systems were still down..I asked her will I be charged late fees because you couldn’t get my payment on Saturday.. She informed me NO, we will wave late fees, because it’s on their end.. Well today they was able to find another way to process payment, but their regular system is still down.. The guy told me no late fees will be charged.. Then Victory the GM at that location took my card info and charged my card another way.. We hung up, then I seen I got charged late fees..I called him and Victory said we charged you late fees because I didn’t pay Saturday..I told him every that went on, and Stacy told me I wouldn’t be charged late fees because your system didn’t take payments from anyone…he said and I quote “I don’t care what Stacy said, I the General Manager”…..well mister GM get ready for a lawsuit…I recorded everything from Saturday Monday and today….You screwed me over for the last time…. It’s sad because I have paid in over $3000 for this stuff I got
