Ive been a customer since September of 2025. I was new to Aaron's. Boy am I regretting it . First I ordered a secontional and the delivery men was incapable of getting the sectional thru my door and they probably would've been able to if they were sober and wasn't smelling like a liquor store . So then I was offered used couches and was told they would be for a clearance price of 600$ with the interest fee making the total around 700$ . Anytime I called to ask how my much I had left owed on my account ut seems that the amount owed was always around the same amount which was around 500$. They dont explain the contract to you before purchasing. Also Juan and ryan both are some passive aggressive ignorant men. They cut you off they dont let you finish speaking and they come off rude especially that Ryan. Reading other reviews I am surprised Juan has been and still working at this company for over 7 years . If you have their memembersh8p and had to file a claim they remind you that your are not the one that made those payments but the memembersh8p is although the memembersh8p is something you have to pay for as well. They dont know how to communicate with the club department either. Every month it was like I was working for Aaron's for free because I had to call and get communication and understanding for the store from the claims departments as if that's not their jobs. AVOID MCHENRY LOCATION YOU BETTER OFF GOING TO RENT A CENTER
I got my delivery today as promised on time Juan and Brandon are awesome they arrived brought my stuff in and assembled it. Aaron’s in Mchenry has a great team they are very professional polite awesome group. they care about there customers thank you Juan and Brandon for the great customer service
Alyssa was fantastic! So polite, energetic, friendly, and very knowledgeable about all products in the store. She made our experience at Aaron's quick and painless for the most part. We’ve been working with Aaron’s for 8 years and such a pleasant group to work with! 14 years ago we dealt with another location and bed was never delivered and promises unkept. April and the group have really changed my mind! They truly care about you and treat you like family!! Thank you!!!
I am close to owning my furniture outright. I only chose Aarons because the furniture I wanted was beautiful and I couldn't find it anywhere else. So being cheap, and figuring that I would save a little money, I decided to lease instead of owning it outright. (Lesson Learned) I have never been more than 30 days past my payment. Maybe a few days behind payments, but we've been doing this dance for the past two years. They have NEVER come to my home in all that time. Now that I'm close to ownership...it seem as if they have become almost FANATICAL in me making my payments, which let's face it, I'm not that far off to where I will lose my furniture now, especially after I've invested so much. However, they call incessantly after the FIRST day of a missed payment, then they send or should I say, "Juan" sends his people out to your home to place a note with your apartment number attached in the lobby, to let everyone know you haven't made your payment. And that note was placed AFTER I'd made my payment. Why am I sharing this? Because at this point it needs to be said OUTLOUD how they harass their loyal customers. So if you want to avoid dealing with this level of "Customer service" especially towards the very end of your lease, I strongly suggest you choose another Aaron's store location to do business with.
Love this store I have been a customer for years and have paid out various things, everyone is always helpful. Recently Alyssa helped me in finding a table she knew what I wanted and when the item I chose was unfortunately not available any longer the first thing she sent over I said yes, she listened to what I wanted and hopefully getting my table soon! Thanks guys for always being so helpful!
