This location is completely unprofessional. The worst part of my experience was not the account itself. It was the way the situation was handled and the way I was treated by this location. I made it clear that I wanted communication regarding the matter to be handled in writing because there was a serious unresolved issue that needed to be properly addressed. Instead, both the store and corporate failed to handle the situation appropriately in the beginning, which caused the situation to continue escalating. Eric’s actions were the most concerning part of this experience. He came to my home, attempted to enter without permission, repeatedly beat on my glass window hard enough that it began leaking afterward, and used profanity toward both me and my roommate. That behavior was aggressive, intimidating, and completely unacceptable. No employee representing a company should handle a customer interaction that way. Karla, the store manager, did not improve the situation. Instead of creating a professional path toward resolution, the situation continued to feel hostile and confrontational. The approach taken by this location felt more focused on pressure and escalation rather than communication and accountability. The situation was eventually resolved only after the Rent A Center Home Office stepped in and reviewed everything. After reviewing the circumstances, they approved a settlement, applied over $1,100 in credits and adjustments, closed the agreement, and transferred ownership of the MacBook to me. Corporate was able to review and resolve what had remained unresolved for months. I understand that businesses and customers can have disagreements, but there is a professional way to handle them. Customers should not feel intimidated or disrespected when trying to resolve a serious matter. This location needs better management, accountability, communication, and respect for its customers. Based on my experience, I would not recommend doing business with this store.

If I could give this place $0 I would. The manager is one of the most rude human beings in a position of power when I asked her for proof after I’d already signed the whole agreement and sent paperwork for a deposit and when I asked for why or show me in your system it asking she screamed at me. I have contacted coporate which she so lovingly gave to me and filed a complaint. I hope to see some action because that was one of the most unwarranted no yelling just a consumer asking a question and a lady losing her patience because I asked

She is a horrible uptight rude and a scam artist… her and Eric completely misled me on all pricing allowed me to think I’ll be paying one price just to pay the other … rent a center needs to do better who would hire such a horrible manager like Karla ??? With all due respect once I pay off my XBOX I will never do business with this establishment again. You’re information is not safe the employees are a joke I kept asking multiple times I don’t want insurance or their waiver and they said I needed to provide home insurance for proof for them to remove it ?????🤣🤣🤣💀 I’m actually laughing how horrible liars these people are!!! Amazing how I went from a 5 star to 1 star ?? I wonder why rent a center needs to do better and fire the liars in that establishment
Very DISHONEST employees including the manager Karla and Eric. If there was an option to give 0 stars I would. This location is very misleading and the workers are scam artists. They get attitudes when you ask questions about the process and agreements. Your personal information is not safe with this location. Anything you upload is not kept secure. They ask for one thing online and you give them whatever they ask for this location wants even more as if to steal your identity but they say they don’t actually use that info that they are collecting. I had too many red flags and decided not to even rent anything I would rather buy everything flat out from a reputable company that keeps my information secure and has Quality customer service. Their customer service was trash and they are manipulative the lady and man I spoke with talked in circles trying to avoid giving me any straight answers. Eric or Karla had no patience or understanding of customer repor, in fact Karla told me the price agreed upon online does not hold and that they make their own prices in the actual store she raised the prices. I don’t see how this place is even in business their customer service and sale skills are complete and utter trash. I give them 2 thumbs down, 0 stars. If you go here monitor your information because there is a breach in their security. I can say so much more in detail but I will never shop or try to use a place like this again I never have and I guess never will I. RED FLAG AFTER RED FLAG
