My rating for this store is a 0—the communication is terrible, and the customer service is abysmal. They sell used equipment that is in very poor condition, and the staff working at the store treat customers very poorly. I would not recommend this store to anyone looking to acquire a rental item.
Updating my review ... I added to my account as I was in desperate need for a laptop and Anthony (Credit Manager) and Eric (Manager) came to my rescue. I walked out with a nice laptop and low payments. Thanks gentleman, I appreciate the hustle and help you both provided. 6 months ago ... I suck at names but I haven't met an employee I don't like! Everyone is pleasant and professional! I have a beautiful Ashley living room and bedroom set I rent with low monthly payments at this location. Check them out!
Worst customer service said they would have the package here by 1 and call last minute to say they got the wrong couch, I rather going to a different store worst customer service by Anthony
I ended up not getting the furniture. And the TV because last minute, God bless me. But I wanted to give a good word for Anthony and his manager, Eric. They are awesome. I personally liked the way they worked together.Synergy is important
I have never rented anything from Rent-A-Center and had such a bad experience I've always rented things I've been late a few times and I've always paid it off in full a big chunk when I got my income taxes well this current thing that I have I am a week late and they are literally showing up at my door after I spoke to not only the store manager but a crew member at the store and corporate I was given 48 hours for the corporate manager to get back to me on me getting a deferment or an extension on my payment the store manager had even gave me till 4:00 p.m. and they still showed up at my door at 11:30 a.m. what happened to the 4:00 p.m. either way it's very unprofessional and heartless especially considering the only reason why I'm late is because I had to transition funds so that I could go to Georgia for a funeral they are not sorry for my loss and they do not have sympathy for my situation I thought in most cases they would work with you rather than taking back used furniture that they can't even sell it the full price anymore. Horrible customer service as well when I first signed up the young lady working behind the register was very ghetto and unprofessional and the conversation they were holding while she was trying to assist me was not appropriate. I would not recommend this store..... and then not to mention it's Christmas like wow!!
I just went through some crazy bait and switch "USE PLATINUM REWARDS AT CHECKOUT" - so I do - to get a phone call 4 days later asking for payment - WHAT - I said last time when yall did the little thing with not connecting my dryer - it was going to be the last purchase - but you secured it with this. How do you offer a program - then back out - and to be told "I need to call the store" FIRST OFF - I have never been to a location - hence the online ordering - I know that I placed my order correctly because I have the email from the order - and then your rep wants to slight argue with me over what you think I don't know - like I haven't been a customer longer than most of your employees have even been there. No, I don't need to call the store to use a reward that is listed on my online account - that is a whole lie.
