What you can rent here
Rent-A-Center is a national rent-to-own chain with 1,948 stores across all 50 states, reaching communities from Lawrence, Massachusetts and Kissimmee, Florida to Harlingen, Texas and Booneville, Mississippi. Launched in 1973 in Wichita, Kansas, it was the first national chain to scale the rent-to-own model, building standardized showrooms stocked with new, name-brand merchandise. Stores carry furniture, appliances, electronics, computers, mattresses, gaming, and smartphones on flexible weekly or monthly lease agreements, and like most rent-to-own stores they typically do not require a traditional credit check. Rent-A-Center holds a 4-star Google rating across more than 152,000 reviews. Compare Rent-A-Center on VRTO alongside other rent-to-own stores near you, with hours, ratings, and what each carries.

Customer reviews
Don’t buy from Rent A Center! I called and asked them if I could pay a late payment and was told no. That if I didn’t pay at least half that they were going to schedule a pickup of the items that me and my kids use everyday. I explained to them that I had to change banks and that I was going to be receiving a paper check but I wasn’t sure when I would receive it. I asked if I could come in person and pay cash only to be told no. This is the worst place to buy from ever. I only purchased from Rent A Center because I couldn’t make a large purchase all at once. I was in the process of moving and needed a washer and dryer and a few other items. But I will never purchase anything from this company ever again!
Wish I could give ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️. Used them (this specific store) in the past so decided to use them again. Had a delivery yesterday, realized the washer had a leak. Reached out this morning and had a new set delivered this afternoon. The ladies I spoke to were polite and the guys who delivered (sorry I can’t remember their names) were nice, courteous and professional. They made the swap out quick and easy. Thank you guys.
Made suggestions until we found what I needed. Very friendly from everyone I talked too!
Been making my payments on time since November, called for a 2 day extension and was told no I have until 3pm that day after I stated I didn’t get paid yet! Also when I first went they threatened me about getting the product because of where I stay! Runnnnnn , do not shop here , try Aaron’s if you have too.
Always gonna give my guys 5 stars. Jeff and Carmen always made me feel like family and their team is so impressive.
