What you can rent here
Rent-A-Center is a national rent-to-own chain with 1,948 stores across all 50 states, reaching communities from Lawrence, Massachusetts and Kissimmee, Florida to Harlingen, Texas and Booneville, Mississippi. Launched in 1973 in Wichita, Kansas, it was the first national chain to scale the rent-to-own model, building standardized showrooms stocked with new, name-brand merchandise. Stores carry furniture, appliances, electronics, computers, mattresses, gaming, and smartphones on flexible weekly or monthly lease agreements, and like most rent-to-own stores they typically do not require a traditional credit check. Rent-A-Center holds a 4-star Google rating across more than 152,000 reviews. Compare Rent-A-Center on VRTO alongside other rent-to-own stores near you, with hours, ratings, and what each carries.

Customer reviews
So far it’s a Bad experience. Item was never delivered on the specified date. No call to reschedule nothing. When I called the delivery man he was Disrespectful and unprofessional almost confrontational. I already regret buying anything here.
I would like to congratulate the entire Rent-A-Center (Rac) team for the outstanding service I received. From the very beginning, the store manager Angelica and the front desk associate Jessica provided exceptional customer service. They were friendly, cheerful, helpful, and truly professional—exactly how every customer hopes to be treated. I urgently needed a washer and dryer because I had to travel, and they worked quickly to make everything happen. We scheduled the delivery for around 6 or 7 PM, but to my surprise, the delivery driver and installer Eugenio arrived at my home around 4:00 PM. Eugenio is a 24-year-old young man who is very hardworking, polite, respectful, and an excellent professional. He did a flawless installation and paid great attention to detail. I have been living in McAllen, Texas, in the Valley, for four years, and I can honestly say I have never been treated this well by any store—whether big or small, including shopping malls. This is the first time I’ve experienced such outstanding customer service in the entire area. For all these reasons, I give five stars and highly recommend Rent-A-Center to everyone looking for fast, reliable, and truly excellent service. I
I just bought my first couch!!! Thanks to Jessica for her amazing, kind, and friendly service!!!
I want to Thank Angelica and Jessica for their Outstanding service @ the McAllen location on 23rd Street... When Dora in Edinburg denied to help me they stepped in and got me what I needed for my new apartment and I'm very happy they did. Thank You Ladie's for helping me and my husband with our furniture. I highly recommend you visit Angelica and Jessica for any of your house/business furniture. 💯👍💜
